    I’m wondering if I should spray my newly planted camellia with a anti transpiration spray? I am also getting a brackens brown magnolia here shortly and I should probably spray that as well. I’m wondering if by spraying them it will also help with keeping the rabbits off them this winter. Maybe they won’t like the taste of the spray.🍁🍂🍁💚🙃

    I think I like the change from tropical garden to houseplant care. There are sooo many plants that get lost in your yard because everything blends in so beautifully, but once they come inside it's like seeing them for the first time again. It's the time I learn more as well. Last year you put your stromanthe in the self-watering pot. I put mine in one and also put my small yellow croton in one. Both plants are doing well thanks to you! This is the first time I've kept a croton alive for more than a season. Love your plans for next year already and let it be known that you are missed on Wednesdays! xxo

    I swear off mums all together! As pretty as they are, the last time I went crazy on mums I ended up finding out that there's a lot of different varieties of slugs out there LOL. And well, without them I don't have a problem, but basically they just became slug gatherings with no flowers LOL

    2 nights down here of around freezing, burnt the tops of the bananas up, and had to move nearly everything inside, but went right back out after. Cant wait to see what you decide to do with the helis over the winter. I have made divisions of mine I am growing out from now until spring, and repotted the sassy today into a better soil mix.
    The new lights look quite interesting! Hmmm!

    I just had shoulder surgery (3rd times a charm) so I had to finish my fall cleanup a little early and I’m really not totally done but it is what it is. I was able to get almost everything indoors that I usually bring in for winter but there are a couple more things out there that I need to clean up so I’ll have to recruit some help next weekend. Finishing up the last two costumes for Halloween (my son and daughter-in-law and granddaughter are going to be three characters from how to train your Dragon) so that has been taking priority over any little thing I can do with one hand in the garden. And yes I can actually sew with my sewing machine with one hand! Fortunately I delegate it out most of the work and have had lots of helpers but it’s been a really fun project. I love watching your videos Jeff it’s actually one of the highlights of my weekend! ❤️🐶🐢🦎😻🐶🦜🌴🍁🌺🌝

    I’d love to have an enclosed area like that for some of my delicate plants z that can’t handle temps below 40. I started buying and putting indoor plants in my outdoor tropical garden and now have to figure out how to overwinter them even here in Florida. Enjoy your cozy indoor space with all that humidity
