Thank you so much, from a lifelong Forager. This is a subject that should be taught in Primary Schools!! Thank you Again for keeping this valuable knowledge alive!!
My new favourite channel! Excellent clear, descriptive videos for beginners. Great to have them for each month even tho we are in central Scotland and slightly different timings for some things.
I've absolutely fallen in love with your videos this year. Can't wait to watch them all again next year to remind me what I'm looking for in each month!
I've watched every month of your foraging calendar this year, really great information. Next year could you do monthly recipes with your favourite foraging goodies and how you use them?
I think this series is one of the best I've ever watched on YouTube. Love your presentation style, and the clear and familiar way you describe everything. It's completely changed how I walk around the countryside. I watch every month to check in on new edibles. Will likely use this series as a reference for years to come
Yesterday I was walking around the wood in a country park near to my house and there was a family with huge bin bags absolutely full with mushrooms or fungi, anyways I have walked over to ask them about what they was doing and how they eat them and the family just pretended they didn’t speak a word of English and just started waving there hands around shouting “Romanian Romanian” . So I never found out what they was picking them for, when I looked in there bag I saw they was picking every single type of mushroom growing probably even the poisonous ones, does anybody have any idea what Romanian people do with them ?
I put some penny wart in my salad yesterday for added succulence, i pulled a few plants from a wall while foraging and transplanted them into some worn out slippers which hang from a stick frame behind my garage along with the herb Robert, they do well enough with little or no watering.
Such a great channel. Thanks for the effort. I've been interested in foraging for some time but never had the confidence to do it. This series will get me out and looking. Subscribed
To save gas or electric you can actually score them and just putb them in a heavy pay with a lid and boil them and once the water reaches a rolling boil you just turn off the heat and leave them for 45 minutes and they will peel very easily and taste awesome.

Love the presentation style, very informative yet also quite relaxing, bit like primitive technology.
