NIKKA YUKO JAPANESE GARDEN

View of the Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden in Lethbridge, Alberta Province of Canada, Oct. 4, 2013 from the Friendship Bell tower. This bronze bell symbolizes Japan-Canada friendship. According to the garden tour guide, Indy, it brings goodluck to the person who strikes the bell with its gentle gong. The tower is built on the compression ring principle, that is, using the weight of the bell to hold the structure together. From the tower you have a spectacular view of Henderson Lake, You can also see the Pavilion, the forest with its colorful distinctive Fall foliage, the waterfall and its crystal clear island stream of water. The garden, bigger in size compared to Japan’s Imperial Garden, lets you relax and have your senses stimulated as it welcomes you inside.
