  1. The first step is to TAKE INVENTORY of your existing entry and source the perfect pieces that will store those items, keep them organized, and finally show off your style.

Would you rather… mirror in the entry? Or artwork?

  2. A friend of mine suggest the mirror and i was like it is going to fall and shatter but now that i am seeing it, it may not be a bad idea!

  3. Dear Ms Julie, if living in an appartement building where you have been walking on carpet before you arrive in your own foyer, is it all right NOT to have a rug in the entrance? I like, clean and very simple (minimalist), a rug has dust, need to be hyper clean (for me); Thank you very much for you piece of advice. helene :))

  4. Julie, we've been through this before gurl, the only thing I take for a walk is my hubby. Anyways great I deas I already fixed the stuff that I did wrong. but ya forgot an umbrella bucket. But yes super great ideas. Thankoo

  5. Hi Julie, inspiring content. Question: I got a round entryway/foyer and it's been hard to find the right console/bench/valet station for my round entryway. Any suggestions?

  6. My foyer is missing seating but there isn’t really room. Can you do a video with ideas for smaller foyers?

  7. these tips are so useful thank you!!! the 70s conversation pit is trending right now, what are your thoughts?

  8. But what if you have no entry space? Our door is next to the wall, no extra area to add a table. On the other side is our living room.

  9. Mirror for me in the entryway ! I need the extra light and also art is all throughout my house😉 I love the photo inspiration!

  10. I love how you show all these examples after you tell us.🙂 It just confirms and cements in my mind ideas to implement into my own home. Thank you Julie! ❤️

  11. Question, please. I have a beautiful gallery wall of mirrors which is about 20 feet from the entry door to my home. It’s technically located in the great room vs. the entry hall, but my question is, does that gallery wall “defy” feng shui?

  12. Good information and ideas for the front area. Our front door opens up to a 6' x 6' raised area that faces a basic closet door. About 6 feet to the right of the closet door is a stairway to the second floor. We normally enter the house through the garage where we keep our cars, and usually use the front door for guests, so no storage is needed. We are thinking of removing that closet to expand the area for astethics only. Do you have any thoughts on this. Due to the weather in Southern California, the need for normal closet needs ( jackets, umbrellas. .) is so rare we have only used the closet as a junk area.

  13. My family and I do not wear shoes in the house. Ever. But, I would never ask a guest to remove theirs!

  14. Hello Julie I’m george. And my front door is in direct line with my balcony window I need to know is that bad feng shui

  15. Thank you very much! I recently moved into my first house. I have no idea how to decorate my home. I learn sooooo much from you video. Now every one entered my home, they all loved it!

  16. Hi Julie. May I inquire if a stove is okay to be placed in an island? Thats really my dream kind of setup but my sister says that cooking stovr should not be there.

  17. Interesting ideas. However, my entryway is so small that storage and mirror are inside the closet, lighting is minimal, floor mats need to be cut down or custom to fit. Seating? I use the stairs. Extras are pretty much a no no.

  18. I am interested to do collaboration with you for Yitahome products. I have sent you message on Instagram DM and also sent you an email. Please check and let me know.

  19. Julie, love the video as always. The entry to my home is uncovered and there is a huge blank wall right in the front, I would love to see some tips for that as I can't use things like artwork there, they would be damaged by the rain and heat.

  20. thank you for the video..i love your channel….i have a poster of Prince on his motorcycle at top of my stairs as my door front door opens directly to the stairway…. i got the wow! but no function..
