If a shrub gets 4 feet wide does that mean 2 feet on each side from center or 4 feet on each side?
Wow! This was an amazing showcase of evergreen shrubs. If I had more space I would have so many more…Great flowering shrubs listed… You are so right about the old fashioned abelia- what a toughie. Thanks Jim!
Sunshine, one of my all time favorites. π
Great information Jim π€
What a fabulous collection of shrubs! π
I bought 5 of the ," Sunshine because of your videos, 3 fire chief arbs, 2 Red diamond lorapetelums, have more on my To get lists! Thank you for your videos! love them
I would have loved to have seen your nursery πππππ
Maybe sometime you could do a video on fragrant shrubs for a wider range of zones? Because I live surrounded by farm fields every once in awhile I would like to smell flowers instead of the farm smells. Pig manure is the worst! Iβm trying to find as many fragrant flowering plants / shrubs as possible for my zone 6a garden. I was hoping that maybe you would consider doing a video on only fragrant plants? Just a thought? πππππ I forgot to mention trees also. πππππ
Thank you Jim and Stephany πππππ One tends to forget that there is someone behind the camera bringing us some great videos. πππππ
Hi Jim and Stephany, miss you. It's amazing to see so many plants πͺ΄ growing by nursery . thank you π
Do you have or could you make a pruning video for the mop style conifers?
Can you do a video on tiny evergreen shrubs? I have a small bed between my house and walkway. By tiny I mean 2'>
I really needed this video Jim π
I need a new yard as I am running out of space and see so much I want!. Thanks Steph and Jim.
Thank you for creating these videos. I am currently working on a significant landscaping project at my house (zone 9B) and these videos are incredibly helpful in giving my ideas and making planting decisions!
Love this series of videos! Thk you both!
What are the best nurseries in Raleigh to get similar plants? Thanks!
Sunshine Ligustrum are great for hiding the trash cans!!!
Thank you for another fantastic video! Just what I needed! I think Iβm going to use the old fashioned Abelia.
Hey, Jim great information and info for the your video was great !
You thought you could hide behind the shrubs, but you forgot that you are tall. Better luck next time.
Hi Jim. Do you have any suggestions for evergreens in a rain garden or bio retention garden? Specifically tall and narrow conifers. All of the rain gardens I find on line are full of grasses and look soooo MESSY!
Nice video and beautiful garden πππ€
Thanks Jim. This video is an example why this is such a great gardening channel. Jim's years of experience in the trade with all kinds of home landscaping is so important. Especially for new home sites and new home owners. Well it's good for old dogs too. lol
Thank you
