  1. Great video, thank you, I was wondering if you could give more information about the free tax filing or how I might go about finding such a thing ?

  2. Just wanted to mention to be cautious with copper. Many years ago, my friend's husband started passing out (out of the blue) among other serious symptoms. He was in his 30's and otherwise very healthy. Very long story made short, he had developed almost lethal copper poisoning simply from wearing a copper bracelet.

  3. Great info stopped drinking alcohol 2 years ago feel so much better and healthier I also take omega 3 as I am starting to get arthritis in my hands seems to be helping.

  4. I live in Madison and would love if it you did a meetup for your Alabama fans💕

  5. Your comment about needing to have something interesting to talk about when socializing is so true. However, I'm not sure that travel tales are the answer, since if the other person doesn't have a chance to travel, it just creates envy. Or they may not approve of your travel style or choice of destination. But I do think that making pleasant conversation is a lost art, like social dancing. I think it has mostly to do with being light-hearted rather than heavy, and with telling amusing stories about ordinary life and shared interests. I guess we all look to the media for entertainment, rather than each other.

Just my opinion, but it's not a time to brag, to vent, to discuss serious topics like the terrible state of the world, to gossip, or discuss personal issues. However those are old fashioned ideas, and both parties have to agree to these unwritten rules.

  6. Very good points. While resuming travel, still need to be conscious about the virus. A friend of mine took Alaska cruise in August and caught Covid, despite having 2 booster shots. Her symptoms have gone away in 2 weeks' time, but loss of tastes persists.

  7. What blows me a away is the revelation that maybe you should see a professional about taxes and yet you give out retirement advice. Nothing wrong with sharing your experience but honestly you may be doing more harm to your viewers than you know.

  8. We will confirm travel is a great dose of medicine for getting out of a pandemic slump. We took a idea of yours and spent a weekend to visit Frankenmuth Michigan and loved it, thanks. Taking really good care of yourselves properly eating sleeping will put you in good position health wise to travel

  9. Tina, do see your doctor to rule out any active arthritis like Rheumatoid Arthritis or possible Psoriatic Arthritis. It may be simple Bursitis, although it may require a doctor that specializes in active arthritis to get the proper treatment. I do know what you mean with respect to the afternoon delight of Wine and a few snacks and cheese. Suddenly you don't sleep all that well and why don't these jeans fit; they must have shrunk! 🙂 We had a friend over for dinner that we have not seen for some time, the fear factor was seemingly there! any little tickle in the throat and its "I hope I don't have the Covid, I don't want to give it to them". It is time to get the socializing juices going again. Cheers!

  10. Hi Tina&Norm, I enjoy your tips! If you remember we are in the rainy damp NW of UK. We have thought many times of "living somewhere with a better climate" and I now I am in at retirement age but decided to keep working – keep the grey matter going and keep exploring the history and geography around us. I think the pandemic taught us to appreciate what we have around us as much a those "remote" holiday places. This weekend we revisited Peveril Castle after many years – it was magnificent (to us). We realized we had missed so many things…so the motto is "keep exploring". PS Of course it rained at one point like crazy but looking across the grand vistas had its magic. By the way a saying I heard in Switzerland (I lived there for a large part of my life) – "There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad preparation"

  11. Thank you for sharing, dear Tina and Norm❣️ We can so relate to y’all about the drinking (became a hobby of sorts during pandemic shut in!), and the need to socialize more. Excited to see your pics of Alabama! There’s lots of beauty there: old pretty homes in Mobile, space stuff in Huntsville… What other points in between will y’all hit? Same here on needing to catch up on the med tests and shots. Y’all could be our twins! Lol! Yep the arthritis is a bummer, hope the copper bracelet helps. We’re planning to do a short cruise in Nov and then full time RVing soon. Y’all’s videos have helped motivate us! Have a great trip and be safe. God bless and ❤ from Texas! 🇺🇸🌸🇨🇦

  12. I can tell u 2 have not drunken none : the disappearance of Rock T-shirt tell us all ! (hehe) – yes, drink less but drink better . . . smart investing . . .

  13. Hey Guys! – I was wondering what platform you guys use for your stocks? ( Eg quest trade, wealth simple, etc ) or are you using a finical advisor?

  14. I recently moved to Alabama from Chicago. Huge difference. However, I have found that Alabama is a beautiful state and I love the people.
If you end up in the Shoals area I would love to host you for a day or two in the week days only because I do work on weekends.
You two are so informative and your personalities, are so much fun. Enjoy your travels and best of adventures to you.

  15. Hi kids, I was fortunate to experience employment for 12 months in Decatur Alabama. Alabama is rich in Civil War history, museums, battle fields and historic cemeteries. Decatur was destroyed with one building remaining. Decatur has excellent museums rich in civil war arms and dress. Huntsville has a NASA Center open to the public. Gulf of Mexico sandy beaches are the best. Hope you have scheduled sufficient time for what the State has to offer.

  16. Glad to see you are both healthy and happy . Another good video . Enjoy your week 😊 small town USA 🇺🇸

  17. Great suggestions guys, especially the drinking, travelling and investing ideas. We are going on a cruise late December into January. My wife turns 65 in January and we just booked a villa near Malaga, and all 3 of our grown children and spouses plus new grandchild will be joining us. First time we’ll all be together since well before lockdown. It’s so important to have events planned for the future to keep you excited and motivated, and so helpful for your mental health. Enjoy Alabama. Cheers.

  18. I wonder how you will resist drinking the good wines and cheap drinks on your next holiday in Portugal?

  19. Excellent review. Appreciate your honesty. Drinking is an issue in these times. We caught up on medical tests. We took a vacation for the first time in three years. I’ve had arthritis for years. Copper helps me. So does salt reduction and alcohol reduction.

  20. Hi Norm and Tina! I recently observed a video for a political ad in Ohio that includes a video of the two of you. While I don't support the candidate that sponsors the ad, I certainly hope that you are being compensated for your images.

  21. If your looking for a personal tour of blue angels and air museum in Pensacola, we are your ticket. Wife and I both retired Navy with access. Can also provide accommodations. When will you be arriving?

  22. Hi Tina & Norm it sounds like a MOT to me and a very good idea we are going abroad soon so thanks again for all the life tips
    Regards Christopher Barker

  23. A question about medical insurance…does Portugal require medical insurance for visitors ? We are seniors, planning to spend Feb in Portugal. Medical travel quotes, even with our relatively good health, are prohibitive. What to do? Advice needed.
