  1. When I did my raised garden bed we put metal corner pieces on each corner. We got them at one of the big box stores. Not sure what they are really for but they work like a charm the corners have never moved. They are quite wide and we just screwed them to the outside of each corner of the garden. Thought I would share as I noticed some of yours were separating. Always nice to put things to bed and enjoy a much needed rest❣️

  2. Yay! All nice and tidy and put to bed for the winter. Looks great. The violas as well.

  3. Is it not possible to sterilize the soil without removing it?? I have done it years ago on larger areas.

  4. Good morning, Jenny ☕️ Isn’t great to check items off your to do list? I too use leaf litter in my beds and it helps with the weed control so much. What is that weed you are speaking of called “daughter” (spelling?) sounds frightening 😮.

  5. Good morning Jenny! Central Pa zone 6b We make our leaf litter the same way and mix it with lawn cllippings, mushroom mulch, and whatever chunks of sod I've dug up while doing landscaping in the yard. It composts for 6 months to a year sometimes and makes the most beautiful black dirt. I have no experience with raised bed mix. How would our home made compost mix compare with a raised bed mix? I'd like to make a raised raspberry bed next year. Thanks for your advice. Your gardens sure do show all the hard work and love you put into them. Beautiful, just beautiful!🧡🍁🍂🍁🧡

  6. How do you repair the warped wood on raised bed? Can you just put a nail in or do you have to replace it? I thought cedar wasn’t supposed to warp.😢

  7. Good morning from southeastern Ohio. Going to be 70 today sunny and beautiful. We’ve had a long growing season this year plenty of rain! Blessed indeed!

  8. Good Morning Jenny! My raised bed is semi-cleared out. But I also do fall winter veggie garden. So, I have my cool weather greens (collards mainly) during the fall / winter months.

  9. Morning Jenny! You should be so proud of your little Mr.Jackson and Momma…. that looks like a lot of work! Can you tell us the exact process that they had to go through to achieve the mulch mix please thanks so much❣️

  10. I love your videos. But do you know that you have created a monster – actually, whatever the opposite of a monster is. Jerry was fabulous yesterday / so knowledgeable and engaging! And the camera work was amazing. Don’t get me wrong, you are one of my faves – but in your absence, he did an awesome job!

  11. I decorate with rhododendron branches (from an enormous bush) and other pine and evergreens. It is a New England way of winter decorating.
Spring is cleanup time. We leave the soil in boxes for these outdoor ‘winter arrangements’

  12. Good morning Jenny ☀️ are you going to do a fall garden? Like kale cabbage broccoli sweet peas lettuce n stuff like that? I want to but I'm not sure when I should plant some of them because we are still getting some pretty high temps here in Rowan Co NC

  13. up to 40 miles per hr winds in St Louis. Reminder to self 10 more leaf bags🍂🍁🍃🤷🏽‍♀️
I did get to plant 3 more hydrangeas and 2 azaelas. Its so exciting when you think about the beautiful shows everyones garden will have next year.

  14. Jenny I noticed Brinnas bandanna… Well, here is my secret that everyone goes crazy for so,have the kids get three bandannas(while holding the three together) braid them together and it makes a cool tight necklace better for Brenna to ware it longer(like a choker!)and I promise your gonna love it- I have tens of them for my Golden Retriever… red white & blue..The Chicago Bears color( blue orange & white!) Easter colors.. Neon Colors(my absolutely favorite one!!) ect… I’ll be watching for it😉🐶P.S I use the clear tiny rubber bands to hold the three bandannas together at the top while braiding them together!

  15. Roflol. Brenna was like… ohhh I couldn't possibly have another one… nobody else takes it so… chomp!
    That's a true southern girl 😆 🤣

  16. See a weed-pull a weed. My mantra every time I’m in the garden. I always miss some, but works pretty well for me.

  17. Good morning from SW Florida! (9B) Enjoyed watching Brenna inspecting the beds. She truly is a garden dog! Everything looks "fantastic"!

  18. Great job looking good. I have a leaf blower that also sucks the leaves up and it chops the leaves great. Wish we could get land and sea here but we can only get Miracle grow potting soil and it repels the water. I don’t know why but it does. Thank you so very much for sharing this with us.🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

  19. Good Morning Jenny WOW what a difference. Everything looks great and ready for a nice rest. I know you have been dealing with the weed problem. I've got chamber bitter trying to take over my yard. What is the best way to get rid of this weed . I'm in zone 8b . Any information you are Jerry can give would be greatly appreciated. Enjoy your weekend sweetheart 🤗💓💕💞

  20. Did you find out what the circular watering thing was that you put in your pots Nd if the public can purchase them? I could use those! Your videos are the ONLY ones I watch. So I formative, I live in the Dallas and Ft.Worth Texas area. Thanks for sharing all your great information with everyone 👋🤠 love learning about being a better gardener! Thanks!

  21. Really curious to see what happens with the dodder bed next season. As much of a pain it has been for y'all, it has been interesting and raised awareness of this noxious weed!
