  1. Woah. The judge is trying to use common sense in a jail. No wonder things aren’t working out for him.

  2. Where I live in KY, they run all passengers names in the vehicle on a traffic stop. It's rare that they don't.

  3. To his credit, the judge really did all that he could do to help these ppl. Even going beyond and offering to make calls for them. It's a custody issue I think. 99% of ppl who are arrested have their phone w them. When they're booked in they should have the opportunity to provide a number from their phone. Smart phones have ruined all of us. I'm 37, I used to have everyone's number I knew memorized before cell phones. But now they're just a push of a button, so no need to remember bc they're usually readily available.

  4. This is how it works where I live. There's a list of bondsmen and their phone numbers by the pod phones. You find you a bondsman who's hungry enough to track down your people, bring you the phone numbers, and you call to arrange your bond. Easy peasy.

  5. Why in the world is this woman in jail for traffic violations – and MINOR traffic violations at that?? Operating without license, failure to yield, and no proof of insurance …why would they take someone to jail for this??? Ridiculous

  6. What's the big deal if he just wants to get a couple phone numbers out of his phone? That C.O. is on a power trip and she needs to step back and remember that inmates are people too!!! just like her! SMH she should go work somewhere else because clearly she has no compassion for people.

  7. It really does make me laugh when these people want to do good and follow the law once they've been lockled up. 🤣

  8. I love how people start crying and blaming others for them putting their pwn asses in jail. This is not a WE problem, it is a YOU problem. also that older attorney with the white dress shirt has to be one of the rudest attorney's I have ever seen. He has behaved like this in a couple different court rooms. He needs to retire or go in front of the ethics comity because hie demeanor is horrible.

  9. I live in New York but that is complete and utter b***** judge order it every time I've been to jail or anything like that they let me write down the numbers before they take my phone don't let it go your honor you're right tell tell her to get somebody to know something you can tell she just crawled out of the womb yesterday

  10. Plus when you called they got to accept and set up the call thing you were on to something you're honor you should have followed through with it cuz what she said and what you said she makes no sense you make perfect sense I've always got my phone to write down numbers before they took it but I am in New York and New York pretty much one of the strictest states on the planet and everything LOL

  11. This judge gets no respect from anyone who works with him the public defender or his clerk. I have never seen a public defender so un prepared and so ignorant and rude to the judge. Same goes for his clerk.

  12. The girl crying because of her own stupidity isn't very smart. They'll let her get her card out but not her phone. If she talked to her boss why can't her boss call someone that's probably in her employers file. $100.00 bond you pay $100.00 that old man should know that.

  13. I would love to have had this judge if I was dealing with the courts. People legit don’t know their mommas number😮My momma, my adult children and the aunties(they’re always home by the phone)

  14. Why is the court clerk so rude and always butting in? I don’t see any other clerk speaking out of term like she does I don’t understand why he doesn’t tell her to stfu, if she wants to be a judge go to law school and apply

  15. This is a kind judge, but these defendants all like like he is a really mean judge who wishes to ruin their lives. Look in the mirror people.

  16. That is a crazy policy with the phones. They need to fix that issue. For that one lady, I was thinking she could have asked them to call her place of employment and have them either give her the emergency contact number they had on file or have them call the emergency contact to ask them to go down to the court. Most employers have an emergency contact number for their employees. I get the judge can't just change bonds based on this issue and I agree with that but we shouldn't be keeping people in jail just because they can't remember a phone number. Heck if they have that kind of crappy policy in place a person could make good money by giving the courts/jail their phone number and be willing to serve as a messenger between whoever is in jail and a family member or bail bondsmen.

  17. this judge has compassion…I once was in the same position…thebjudge made me call someone in his office, and I called my employer, and told them..they sent the Maintenace man down to jail with cash…I had to work it off…

  18. I can remember every landline number my family has had since 1985. Addresses too. He doesn’t look young enough that he didn’t have to remember such info.

  19. The number policy serves no purpose besides cruelty. Besides, more prisoners, more profit. Bettering society and reforming law breakers sounds nice and all but there is money to be made and ego's to be rubbed.

  20. So, they can get a debit card out for someone to bond out but they can't get a phone out for them to call someone to bond them out? I call BS on that.

  21. Was it just me or did that "deputy/jail attendant" have NIL decorum and borderline disrespect for the court

  22. I hate to agree with Marable on anything because he is the worst judge who we see, but I agree with him on how horrible it is they won't let them access the phone 1 time to get phone numbers. They don't allow them to access the phone during booking. They won't let them have access to it after booking. That deputy was so dismissive of the judge, lol. That was funny.

  23. One number??? You can't remember one phone number??? Don't do the crime if you can't remember at least one number?? Glad I was born in the 80"s when you had no cell phones and had to remember phone numbers by heart or at least write it down in your personal phone book.

  24. Sick no respect for the law,Judges, police .I appreciate you all and pray God's Armour over you All 🙏

  25. I was stuck also cause of phones it’s 2022 the phone shit is dumb but I understand how u can’t let everyone get there phone…better remember a number I have a emergency jail number remembered after that.

  26. I think they should be able to call property dept. and have them get the number and put it right back in… I’m sure the guy wouldn’t care if someone looked at his contacts in his phone if it meant he’d get out of jail

  27. That officer was actually a b** and I’m completely back the blue, respect cops, got their 6, but she was a Karen. I’ve seen enough videos and know a few cops and when people get booked in they ask them if they need any numbers out of their phones . Seems this lady just couldn’t be bothered. You think even if it’s not usual policy, if a judge asked you to get him a number you would respect the authority of the court , especially because he was being nice not demanding, and just get the damn phone numbers. I hope the judge mentioned it to her supervisor because I really think she couldn’t even be bothered to try to help.

  28. Has the arrest been addressed? Can she be ID’d as a passenger to begin with? I wasn’t sure if that’s state by state or federal. If she was picked up when she was with her sister, doesn’t she know already she’s in jail?

  29. In the words of Judge Middleton, “STOP DRIVING!”
“It’s not my fault” defense, as she keeps driving without a license and insurance.

  30. The phone number debaucle is ludicrous. What a ridiculous systematic hang-up. When someone comes in with a phone, let them take a whole 3 minutes to get some numbers, so taxpayers aren't paying for days longer of incarceration because of a damn number!
