  1. This was my first time watching. I liked your calm, informative approach. I have a 3yr potted Meyer lemon tree. Its doing ok. I cant believe its still alive after my uninformative care. I will be planting it in my yard soon. I live in zone 9a. Im going to check out the notch vid next. Thankyou and i must say you made me feel all warm and fuzzy! Im going to be filled with light today…

  2. Great information. I just got a 1-2 year old improved Meyer lemon and will be attempting to grow in a pot. Thanks!

  3. THANK YOU JESUS! THATS RIGHT! ALELUYA! I ADMIRE THE ๐Ÿ‹ TREE BUT THE ENDING WAS EVEN MORE BREATH TAKING THE SUN CAUGHT MY EYE & I WAS ADMIRING THE HALO BEFORE YOU MENTIONED IT BE BLESSED

  4. โ€œThey have spirits, every living thing has a spiritโ€ I love this ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝโค๏ธ

  5. Martine is a lifesaver. It's wonderful how he updates how to
plant Meyer Lemons and other container growing citrus trees in general. I can't thank him enough.

  6. I had a Meyer lemon tree given to me as a wedding gift. I had the tree for a decade and it barely stayed alive. The wife is gone and so is the pot I had the tree in. I put the tree in a plastic storage tub that I drilled lots of holes in. It runs out that tree was starving for oxygen around the roots. Putting it in a flat wide planter with lots of drainage was like Magic. This season gave me 50+ lemons. Before that I was lucky to get 5.

    Drainage is key.

Thank you for much good information.

  7. I have Meyer lemon in container it has lots of buds, however the leaves are falling off. What can i do to correct this problem?

  8. I live in Las Vegas, NV. We have extended 110F during the summer. Learning to grow fruit trees and garden veggies here. The wind here is hard on shade fabric. So I have to figure out how to put up solar shade that I can take down during our high winds.

  9. You did amazing bring the tree back to life. I love the end of your video how you brought the light to the ones that have been put in the dark. Al is because of the father the sun the only one the light of the world. Love you brother ๐ŸŒŒ๐Ÿ™ love is love nature is wisdom

  10. It is so validating hearing you say Meyer lemons are difficult to grow. I might try Eureka if the Meyer tree dies (who am I kidding – this tree is going to die ๐Ÿ˜‚.)

  11. Amen… I just got an improved meyer lemon but I got it with a much taller trunk like 18 inches before it has leaves. It is 4 feet tall and did not like the garden shop it was at. I took off the bad leaves and trimmed about 4 inches off the top to help the body grow out. It will be a bit of work.

  12. i have a store bought lemon tree planted in the ground for about 5 yrs now (I live in AZ. the Phoenix area) Every yr. it produces many flowers and then they all fall off and the leaves don't grow . It looks like a scare crow. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I need help. thank You

  13. Hi there i just found your channel. I have an improved meyer lemon tree that I purchased this year. It is in a self watering pot right now so it gets water from the bottom when it needs it but I also water when it dries out at the top. My tree is about 5 feet tall but its skinny and the not full like yours. It had hundreds of flowers and started producing little lemon buds. Most the flowes fell off and all was left were the little buds. Today every single bud was gone. What do I do? I feel like it needs to be bustier than it is. And also I'm seeing flying little bugs that look like small beetles hanging around on the tree. I spray with need oil and thats. I need some advice thank you!

  14. Very interesting seeing the different issues that citrus growers like your good self face in the US. Here in England, heat is never an issue to citrus – we face the opposite problem! I learnt a fair amount when I came to Florida a few years back to visit a citrus farm there – we shared a lot of notes and it was a blessed experience ๐Ÿ’ซ๐ŸŠ. But great to learn via yourself too, all knowledge is beneficial knowledge as far as Iโ€™m concerned! Keep up the great videos my brother! ๐Ÿ‘

  15. I commend you on your knowledge of the citrus trees. I have just started a year ago with my first lemon trees, lime tree ,figs and just trying to keep learning on keeping them alive and hopefully some fruits will come of it. Your very informal. Thank you your garden is looking great sir

  16. I just got me Meyer Lemon tree a couple weeks ago. I put it in a container like yours. Its about 4 feet tall and the trunk at its largest point is about an inch round. Do i trim the height and should i notch mine? Your channel is very informative. Thank you sir.

  17. Just subscribed, my Meyer lemon did really good then I moved to Coarsegold California and on the trip up the hill, it sustained major damage. I was so heartbroken. Iโ€™m going to watch your videos on how to bring it back to health. Thank you. ๐Ÿ™

  18. My meters lemon from seed is 14 inches tall. Please tell me what to do next? How to propagate? It is healthy but no side branches.

  19. I came here looking for the reason why my lemons are not turning yellow and came away with a sense of spiritual peace. That was a nice video.

  20. Hi Elder
My Meyer Lemon tree looks terrible!!! It's in the ground, It's probably about 10 years old. the trunk is about as big as a lemon is around. The leaves are sparse and yellowed. Only has about six small lemons on it. I use Ortho Citrus Fertilizer a couple of times a year. I water about once a week. I live in Orange County Ca. Any suggestions. Also last year I tried to notch like you demonstrated in one of your videos. Not one of them produced a new branch. How deep do you go when you notch?

  21. Thank you for this. I have an older dwarf Meyer lemon growing in the ground on the north west corner of my house. I have been lucky as it makes lots of fruit, but needs a lot of trimming as it bends toward the sun. I am in Los Angeles basin and am creating a cutting to try in a container in Riverside. Yes, the plants each have a spirit.
