We Went Hunting for Massive Oklahoma Rose Rocks

This was a special trip with our friends to hunt for Oklahoma rose rocks, and other natural woodland elements to add to the garden. What we saw was truly breathtaking. We found massive rose rock formations covered in luscious green moss and lichens, and some interesting native ferns that just might make an appearance in my garden someday soon.

Rose rocks or “Barite roses” are the official State rock of Oklahoma, and are prized for their rugged beauty and unique rose-like shape. #rockhounding #crystals #gardendesign #roserocks #Oklahoma #rocks

  1. I remember going to Tasmania about 20 years ago and being so fascinated with the moss and lichens on everything. We don't have much where I live in Hervey Bay Queensland.

  2. Interesting looking any insects/spiders in any of them? Is that on his property or somewhere else? Where is he going to put those big rocks?
