The story about the large bird in and around Raleigh NC. doesn't surprise me at all. I used to live in Raleigh and worked in many surrounding towns such as Cary. Durham etc. … I've worked in the RTP which is the Research Triangle Park There are endless "experiments" going on continuously involving animals etc. .. all of which are under the deep dark canopy of secrecy. There's the university of North Carolina…. and North Carolina state university. There's Duke University and medical facilities. That said, you can draw your own conclusions with that. It wouldn't surprise me if the was an accidental escape.
