That is a lot of bacon!!!
Don't forget cuz you watch the video LOL
Interesting videos, thanks!! One comment though: Please find another word other than delicious.

I saw on insta some little fur friends. Should be a nice little change for the farm. I'm sure Figaro wouldnt mind some new play friends.
Those pieces are small as heck. So northerners eat tiny bacon?? We buy full size bacon in 25 lb packs. Cut down, gives us about five packs. I couldn't eat bacon that small, not even pasture raised.
Didn’t find the sealer link in the description.
I don't know where it coming from I keep thinking about BLTS.
Were hands washed before packaging the product?

I laughed when all of those field mice came running out from under the tarp. I was so glad there were not any snakes.
Gina it's too bad you didn't have a weed whacker with you, you could have eliminated the rats
The only chance that something fails completely, is by not doing anything. If you do something and maybe it doesn't work out as you expected, it is still a success because you learned something. Probably copied that from some saying somewhere, unintentionally. LOL
Hi…. AL and Gina nice to see you love watching your videos 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 👸👨👩👧👕👓🐩🐔🐓🐣🐥🐕🐈🐐🐖🐝🐠🐟🎣 🌱🌺🌹🌻🌼🌸🌷🏡🎥👍👍👍
I would like to know when they smoke or you do it. What is better.
I do my own butcher and smokeing
Those creatures were probably voles. Shrews are carnivores and would kill voles. Voles are plant & root eaters, but probably will not eat garlic.
Ohhhh, that looked like such nice bacon! My husband and I smoke our own but are at the mercy of our local restaurant supply. Their bellies look nothing like yours yet we still end up w a fairly decent product. So nice to have it sliced and sealed in the freezer.Whats not to love about bacon? Yum.
Lol Gina – you're not a real farmer unless you have hay in your boots…
😃😍💙❤👌👍🙏🙏
Wow! I can't believe how much you save slaughtering the pigs yourselves and smoking your own bacon.
You could just save and link this video onto your calendar with an alert for this time next year.
We raised a pig back in 1982. When she was very big, the neighbor took her to hog heaven and brought her back in boxes. One said HEAD. We gave it to a friend who spoke wonders of those jowls. The Chitlins stayed in hog heaven. My wife made sausage from some of her and then hung several pieces in pillowcases on the front porch with secret ingredients for a month or so. She was delicious.
The bacon looks like its all fat, what's the go there?
Hmmm it will be good when you can get back to controlling the meat smoking etc yourself.
Back in the day, I worked for a commercial kitchen. My first day I was immediately put in charge of cleaning the meat slicer. Seeing you guys working with one brought back so many nightmares for me!! Lol Aloha from Hawaii!!! That monster is a massive hassle to clean!! hahaha
in all my years i have never seen any bacon sliced like that . its curious is all . ive always had long cut bacon , as the wider end is almost all fat and the lower end is all meat .
Always astonishing to me that you guys put so much effort into making streaky bacon, which we (UK) mostly use for cooking with. Back bacon for me !! But you have made a lovely job of it.
Al stop your complaining about the temperatures. 😉 Here in Atlanta our temperatures have been 80° to 81° for the past week.
I heard Jess from Roots and Refuge say “don’t let perfect get in the way of ‘good enough’ “. Thought that was a good one ☝️
So hiw much did it cost per pound? Ours came out to $3.19# which us waaayyy below grocery store prices. 12 oz of bacon is $5.99 to $11.89 depending on the brand. I'll take home raised every time.
I found pre-sized bags on Amazon for cheaper than the rolls, 1 gallon, quart, and pint. Saved me a ton while packaging my produce from the garden this fall.
20 is not divisible by 3, does one of the Lumnahs not eat bacon?
How can u be 100% sure the pigs dodn't get mixed up
That bacon has so much fat on it not like British bacon
Man I miss videos like this one. This is how all your old videos use to be. Except in your old vids you would have made a episode about (how too smoke your own bacon). Missed opportunity bro😐
Hey guys!!How about a smoker? Check out Deep South homestead and Smokey mountain outpost – they have videos on how to build. Save you money in the long run.
Amazon is selling smoked bacon 14 lbs for $124!
Down south we used all the meat from the farm animals and I do remember what my grandfather, dad and uncle would do to process the farm animals and the deers from hunting too. Plus we would start a fire for putting a pig on the grilling a whole pig in the homemade box out of metal. To cook the pig twenty four hours and slowly cook it over night. This is what we call a grill steaks of north.
Looks like the Pigs came home .
Greetings from Tehachapi CA, I truly appreciate your Vlogs.
Keep them coming, I watch daily.
Wow, that's a lot of bacon and now garlic
You've been inspirational these past two years (Pandemic)
😷😕😉🤗😇
Best Regards, TTFN, Cheers
Looks great. MmMmM Bacon !. Quick suggestion, if the finances can afford it invest in a chamber vacuum sealer. Bags are 1 or 2 cents each versus 70 cents to a dollar when using a suction only type bag. You also don't have to manually do a seal at each end of the bag when using a roll saving time. Yes, initial outlay is large but accrued savings are phenomenal.
Another advantage to chamber vacs is they are brilliant for wet products like soups and stews not to mention fine particle dry goods like ground herbs and spices. Because they evacuate the air from around and in the bag, you don't get product bleed of into the sealing bar area. You can also seal multiple bags at a time depending on the width of the bag and the sealing bar.
Keep your suction vac though for doing large items that wouldn't fit into your chamber vac.
