Pet training tip: If they do something that you don't want, pause the game and click on the lecture about interaction multiple times to queue it up. Your sim will repeat the lecture over and over, even though the pet stopped after the first time already. Sometimes the pets get a bit mad, but most of the time they immediately learn what not to do. So you only have to catch them once most of the time.

The newspaper wallpaper probably is taken from American history in the 1930s during the Great Depression in order to insulate their house they used to stuff newspapers into the walls or even layer it over the plasterboard to insulate they would have sometimes up to 20 layers of old newspapers to help insulate the house that's why there was a trend a while back where people would buy old houses and carefully take apart the walls because there could actually be money in there because old newspapers old posters from movies one of the rarest posters I think it was a six piece for like Frankenstein or something was found as somebody's wallpaper underneath it
