   Wow now as a gutter and gutter guard installer there are gutter guards that work pretty well if installed properly. No gutter guard is 100 percent but they definately can help

   I work for a gutter company and do gutter cleaning and pressure washing myself. To be completely honest not all gutter guard are terrible if you go cheap then yes absolutely they are shit, or leafguard the company, absolutely shit gets wasp in them all the time snakes and everything it’s just a bad design but the mesh screen that goes under the shingles is actually really good as long as the person who installed them didn’t do a shit job.

   100,000,000,000% true I am a landscaper and people with gutter guards we have to clean that shit off the top of those guards like seven times a freaking year they 1,000,000,000% do not work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I have nice gutters but told the company I didn't want the guards and it's been 10yrs now and I have never had to do anything besides spray the hose in each end to get the little debri to go down but I have never had a clog ever so we are living proof you don't need guards especially with all the treed we have to the extent that my yard is fully covered in leaves in the fall but it all just washes out of my gutters with no issue

    If you design your house from scratch can you eliminate gutters altogether just from The slope of the roof then?

    Actually the ones at my house are pretty op haven’t had to clean em since we moved in 3 years now at the old house it didn’t have any would clean every fall the guards don’t work against pine trees tho but other than that it’s a great thing

    This is why I had to get leaf guard gutters. They actually work. I live in a heavily pine tree area. Every time I’ve looked them. There never been anything in them except maybe a couple needles. But they get washed out onto the ground. Expensive but worth the money. But great advice in this video! These other guards are worthless.
