    Poor Daisy, we really feel for you, what our animals put us through. The happiness and fun, yet worry and the inevitability of that deepest grief. So glad she is on the mend. It’s been a bit of a week with poor Jessie losing Ani as well.

    Well Doberman are not normal dogs, we know that. All ours went at or around11yo so you have 8 more years of miss mischief – and no more ice cream for Daisy

    Glad daisy is improving. I used to get my dog to take tablets by putting it inside cheese. I gave her bits of normal cheese in quick succession to make her gobble it down without thinking and swallowing it at once. Then the cheese with the tablet, followed by a bigger piece of cheese as a chaser all done in quick succession. It never touched the sides of her throat.

    Oh wow, poor daisy so glad she on the mend what a horrible week for u and your partner. Nothing worse when your pet is poorly they not a dog there like another child

    I lost my dog Lucy 8 months ago she was only 6. It was devastating. I could nt get out of bed for days I loved her so much and she loved me back. Got tears in my eyes writing this. I know exactly how you feel. I have a new dog now which I love as much. Lucy is still in my heart though ❤️

    Tony, I can’t begin to say how sorry I am that Daisy and you all have been through this 😢 I see you re-living each and every moment & emotion, we’ve been there and totally feel your heartache. They are our babies, pure & simple, I’m so happy she’s feeling so much better. 🙏🥰🐾🥰🙏

    We’ve had a year since our old boy crossed the bridge (we had a few scares with him, some due to ‘dietary indiscretion’, so I know where you’re coming from). We were ready, a year later, to welcome another little chap and are now navigating life with a 13 week old pupster, with all its joys ☺️
    Keep onward & upward, sweet Daisy & you look after yourselves, Tony! 🐾🥰🐾
