The way the insurance for tankers works is all oil sales have to be made using US currency, Russia has to use its currency because US won't let them use US currency, the way they enforce it is if the oil in the ship has not been paid in US currency they will not sell them insurance. This has been going on since the sanctions started and the US operates like a crime family, if any nation doesn't pay in US dollars they are not allowed to buy insurance only the US can sell, so the US has everybody by the balls even though it is completely unfair because they are running as a monopoly so no one can cut into their action, this is why BRICS is working on changing this, all currencies will be allowed this way sanctions wouldn't work any longer for anybody, that takes a huge bite out of the US pocket book. Oil is priced high because the US cutoff Russia and Iran which are two major suppliers, the less oil that is on the market the more it will cost, if Russia and Iran were allowed to sell their oil it would drive the price way down because it works like supply and demand, more means less cost and less means more cost, this is why the Europeans are uptight with the US and why their price skyrocketed..

Truth is that there is still debate about what are the real factors in climate change. Apparently, carbon dioxide levels have been much higher in eons past and the living things on earth were not eliminated. Frankly, CO2 is great for plant life, and what would help their cause is the replanting of large forests. However, I’d say the real problem is the lack of rainfall to water the forests and fields. With all of the artificially added particulates in the atmosphere, natural cloud formation and thickening to form droplets large enough to rain has been hampered. If you want to prevent rain, oversaturate the local atmosphere with aluminum and barium oxides (of course they will say this is to “seed clouds”, and reflect solar radiation and heat back into space – without telling you that it also traps heat underneath.). Weather manipulation.
Carbon output and footprints of companies should be tracked and offset with 🌱 plantings, or money to plant (if they are unwilling to do it themselves). But when they come after individuals, that is a violation of personal rights (to life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness). Because we are animals, we emit CO2 through no fault or control of our own. Carbon tax for breathing? Suppose they want to know whether you jog or play sports, since this increases your output. How many time a week do you have sex – increased CO2 output? Next will be what your furnace uses for heat – natural gas or electricity (and by the way, which of the two technically has a larger footprint? If you are taxed for your furnace use on top of what the utility company is taxed, isn’t that double taxation?). Methane will be next – get rid of flatulent cows, Mexican food and beans, regulate home composting and all landfills must have gaseous capture systems, etc. Actually, capturing methane from landfills is a great idea, and burning it to produce electricity – but there’s the CO2 problem again, which could be offset by merely planting more trees!!!!
Bottom line people is that someone wants to control your money and savings, by requiring you pay personal carbon taxes. No guarantee that these taxes will be used to actually fix anything with additional plantings – probably just line someone’s pockets with wealth – oh yeah, cashless society, so the analogy of lining pockets doesn’t have meaning any longer.
I think it is just normal they are laying off people, every major compay does that at this times. But be observant of the fact that at the end of 2023 50% of all wotkforce of major companies will be filled by robots.
OMG I researched the diesel rerouted by traders to east coast from eu bound ships and pat is over month out of date!!!! Reuters has report in Oct on the 14 not Nov 14 so that is already done and if Europe is pissed they been that way over month
