Global Village Dubai will reopened for its 27th season on Tuesday, October 25, and if you haven’t been before, it’s one to add to your Dubai bucket list.
Global Village is one of Dubai’s most popular and economical family-friendly attractions, with multiple pavilions, a diversity of different cuisines, market booths, and activities. There are rides and performances.
It is notably well-known for its frequent fireworks displays, particularly its several fireworks displays on New Year’s Eve.
What exactly is the Global Village?
Global Village Dubai is a massive, multi-cultural theme park with a lot to see and do. There are 27 world pavilions, several cultural events, carnival rides, street food booths, the region’s first oddity museum, Ripley’s Believe It Or Not, and a plethora of other attractions.
There are 27 pavilions to visit at Global Village Dubai representing 78 nations around the world. These pavilions this season are UAE, KSA, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Afghanistan, Africa, Americas, China, Egypt, Europe, India, Iran, Oman, Japan, South Korea, Lebanon, Morocco, Pakistan, Palestine, Syria, Thailand, Turkey, Yemen, Russia. The Al Sana’a and Khalifa Foundation pavilions will also be returning.
Two new countries will be added to the pavilion line-up in 2022, Qatar and Oman.
What restaurants are there in Global Village?
With the addition of more than 100 new restaurants, cafés, kiosks, and street food alternatives, food will be a major feature at Global Village Dubai this year.
Season 27 will feature over 50 new eating ideas as well as over 60 new partner restaurants, cafés, and street food alternatives.
Guests will have access to 200 culinary options on-site, with many old favorites returning to join the newcomers.
What are the key attractions of Global Village Dubai?
In addition to the pavilions at Global Village, there is a history village to visit, as well as a main stage for daily events, a mission speed stunt show, and a kids’ theatre. There are fire fountain displays, tons of great street food along Kiosk Street, an Indian chaat mart, and a floating market. There’s also a large carnival section with several rides.
The Global Village Big Balloon, a giant helium balloon that can soar to the height of a six-story structure, will debut in 2022. (around 61m above the ground).
Along with the new balloon, there will be a House of Fear location, replete with a House of Fear
Ripley’s Believe It or Not! is one of the site’s most popular attractions.
How much do Global Village tickets cost?
There are two ticket options in 2022. For the new season, there will be a value ticket, valid from Sunday to Thursday (excluding public holidays) and an ‘any day’ ticket, available for one-off visits, any time.
The value ticket will cost Dhs20 per person and the any day ticket will be charged at Dhs25.
To get the best price, book online or via the app for a ten percent discount, making the value ticket Dhs18 and the ‘any day’ ticket Dhs22.50.
