Welcome back to Suzie Anderson Home, today we will be sharing our Christmas themes for 2022 that we have created in-store to help inspire your own look this year.

Within every holiday, there is a myriad of ways to add visual interest, beauty, and celebration and one of those ways are with a festive theme.

Decorating your home for Christmas is a terrific way to lift the spirits and show how much you care by creating a magical feeling of welcome to family and friends.

Approaching the holidays with thoughtfulness, intention, and gratitude allows both you and your loved ones to feel relaxed and special in the space you have created.

These themes will be split into two episodes, so we look forward to sharing the second half next week.

  1. Hello everyone! Thank you for watching today's video which introduces the first half of our festive themes for 2022. I would love to know which of these 3 themes you resonate with the most. Have you started your festive decorating? xx

  2. 🎄~Opps! (below). I meant to say "Traditional maximalist" all the way!! 🤶
    ~This was beautiful Miss Suzie! ~Blessings! 🤶🥰🎅

  3. This year, Whites (with Metallics) . Second, Soft pinks (gorgeous) . Not much on Tradional colors of Red and green. It reminds me of how Cold I Am 😂. Suzie, it's 31° and have had our first snow . I'm truly misplaced! I'll pretend I'm in Fiji! 😉🍹🏖🌞❤️ . Thank you for sharing, looking forward to Part 2!

  4. What are these numbers following my name in YouTube now? I've never seen this before. Can anyone help? Need I be concerned as I am? Hmmm …

  5. …. I loved them all, beautifully presented, Miss Suzi and Company.
I have a preference for the White Decor, since it's been my own " Theme " for several years, and I enjoy that look ,since I have a home that reflects my love of colour , … in rugs, pillows, throw blankets, and a few painted furniture pieces. I love using a white tree, and there's quite a bit of Lustre, along with Metallics, ( silver/ gold/ soft bronze )as well as creams, soft greens, and various shades of white. I use velvet, faux fur throw blankets and I discovered that this palette complements all the other colour that is present in my home, and gives real presence to the Holiday Decor . Looking forward to Part 2 !
Thank you for a wonderful Video, filled with ideas and beauty, and includes simple ways to make ones' home Festive, but not necessarily " overdone " ( unless that is what is desired, lol ! ). Cheers and Blessings.

  6. To me, a few scents to enjoy now could be spicy carnations, stargazers, fresh pine boughs, spice mixtures simmering & essential oil drops to my floor washing. 🌲👃

  7. The one I am most attracted to is Thelma's
    Garden… All very nice..

My Christmas is all creams whites light greys..
Just had a custom made light oak fireplace made with a 20 inch mantel.. so beautiful..love❤

    60 inches long.

  8. 🎄As always a visual treat.. 🎄🫧🫧🫧The white theme feels more in keeping with our hot dry climate…🫧🫧🫧

  9. I always go for the traditional Christmas look as it reminds me of my Christmases in England when I was a child but they all look really pretty. Thank you, Suzie.

  10. I loved the styling as much as the themes, My choice would be something from each bur not too much of it aĺl.. I look forward to next week. Thank you for your hard work.

  11. I’ve been waiting for this video! I was so delighted to open my iPad and see this video. It’s 5:30 am, sitting in my favourite chair with the fire burning, candles lit and sipping on a hot cuppa coffee and listening to Susie Anderson narrate the most beautiful images. ♥️💕🥰😍 I’m definitely a traditionalist…So excited for part 2.

  12. You have one of the most beautiful YouTube channels out there. So thoughtfully curated, just lovely. I spend hours sitting with a cup of tea, a little dog in my lap, scrolling through your videos. Thelma's Garden for me….I love the soft pinks, rose, and champagne colors. Joyeux Noel from Central France!

  13. Beautiful as always, thank you for the inspiration. I sometimes think that the traditional dark greens, reds and golds are particularly good in the winter Christmas hemisphere, where they stand out against snow and grey dull days. And then again it's also lovely to evoke a sense of the winter festival even if you live where there is no snow. I do love the soft pinks and greens, and the white frosty them. I want them all! So difficult to choose.

  14. I’m all about the traditional maximalist 😍🎄. I love the warm cozy feeling and it reminds me of my childhood.

  15. No matter how much I like and admire all the new Christmas decoration trends, I always come back to traditional maximalism!

  16. I loved all the botanicals in this video. I'm in Ohio, USA, it's chilly here and we just received our first dusting of snow. We're a household of 4 mid-20's ladies. Last year we did a boho theme and this year it'll be more traditional. I'll be displaying my winter village this weekend and it'll stay up until the end of February or last snow. During the last week of November we have Thanksgiving (or in our house a potluck, slumber party friendsgiving) and then we'll start decorating for December's holidays right after some Black Friday shopping. December's displays will include my vintage ceramic table top tree, manger scene, baskets of advent gifts and our stockings. We have plans to get new front door wreath, scented seasonal candle and an up-date to our coffee bar. TFS this beautiful video!

  17. Christmas theme is nice. You could do some other festive type themes maybe like Chinese/Korean new year,, Japanese, Hanukkah, Easter, Summer holidays, Christmas in July, Indian/Muslim/Irish/English/ German/Scandinavian/multicultural?? mothers /fathers day/pet friendly homes ?? other specially festivities (even cultural ) etc.Just a few wild thoughts.

  18. The beauty is in the details indeed! Sumptuous. I’m in the white Tribe this year but looove the touch of green and white in the maximalist portion. Very chic and french, a touch of provincial. When I’m in Sydney next will definitely stop by your amazing store. Thanks Susie and looking forward to more upload.
