“Forest” of 3 Japanese Maple – Spring To Fall 2022

My husband has started this bonsai with 3 Japanese Maple seedlings.
April – re-potted.
June – suffered from drought when we were away on vacation and lost most of its leaves.
July – clean up and trim back branches for a bonsai style
August – update on the result of the July trim
November – Fall colors are amazing
November 14 – most leaves are gone. Put away under patio for winter protection

  1. Put them in the ground next spring mate on a tile to create great nebari and fatten their trunks mate.
How long you leave them in the ground depends how fat you want your trunks to get.
