  3. Prices going up and for me… it’s one more day in the month I go without food. After 5 days of not eating it’s physically painful.

  4. I've been canning and freezing every bit of produce that doesn't sit still. Uncut pumpkins after Halloween have been baked and put into the freezer, and people have given us many of them. The "funny looking" apples taste just as good as the expensive ones from the store, and applesauce from those apples looks and tastes the same as from the expensive ones.
    Buy seeds and plan your garden for next year. Anything you grow yourself is going to be money you don't have to spend on food. And, help feed your neighbor.
