Just wanted a few Poinsettias and some materials for making up aroid potting mix and a lot of other stuff happened. Figured black friday would be an ideal time to see if there are houseplants on sale and I ended up buying a lot of plants. There were some great deals around for the size of the Poinsettias, I might grab a couple more. The christmas cactus are looking great, easy plants with nice flowers. I bought the variegated poinsettia last week at Home Depot! So surprising that they stocked them! I paid a pretty penny for one a few years ago from our neighborhood florist. Just beautiful and a welcome change from all the red ones.
If you don’t like the white poinsettias, you can add food coloring to the water and make them any color you want. 😃

I ended up in ER Tuesday morning about 4:30 am . I guess I have colitis, thankfully the daughters were able to handle Thanksgiving dinner. PS people in Austria would get very angry if there's a hole in the cover pot, strangely putting a Plastik or terracotta into a ceramic cachet pot is the norm… 🤷🏻♀️
