  1. Suggestion: Look at the camera when you are speaking. You have a tendency to look (in this video) off to your right. Keep it up!

  2. I noticed welding burn marks on the underside of your bucket where they welded the hooks, I would hit that with some primer and some of the BEAUTIFUL GREEN paint. 👌

  3. Thank you for showing the leaving of the storage shed. The close overhead was interesting to watch you leave. Love how JD makes a backhoe attachment that with boom in travel the ROPs in lower settings is no higher than backhoe. In my Humble opinion it is very important on Hight. It reminded me of seeing NEW fire equipment leaving an older Station. The new Ladder Rig just barely cleared the overhead Door.

  4. You mentioned a great list of channels that helped you make your decision, I’d like to add Elk Creek Acres to your list. Pat has a great channel that starts off with his 1025R, then he moves up to a 2025R, followed by a 2038R and his recent change to a 3039R cab tractor. It’s very informative to watch his progression and hands on insight on each model. His application is being a conventional farmer and taking care of horses to include moving round bails of hay.

You made some great points on what lead you to your decision to go green that are the same reason I did as well. I’ve owned 4 new John Deere tractors over the last 20 years. I started with their largest garden tractor where I added a front end loader and a limited cat 1 three point hitch and several implements. After a couple of years I moved up to a 790 compact utility tractor and it actually used the same diesel motor that that the garden tractor used, but it was much more capable. After a year with this machine, a divorce ended my tractor ownership for 14 years. My next tractors was a 5065E and it was a beast of a machine, but not so user friendly on a lawn or anywhere near the house. This lead me to my 2038R package. It has an implement and attachment list that will allow me to do everything I need, but most importantly, will allow me to transport it to and from a second property 60 miles away using a two vehicle I already have, that was not the case with my 5065. I’ve never had any issues or problems with any of my tractors that were not normal use fixes. As you can see, I’ve changed things up more than once and it needs to be said that the resale value of anything green is top notch. My 5065 sold through Facebook in two days and brought in more then I paid for it new after two years of ownership.

As you can see, I’m a fan of the green paint! It’s not because I’m colorblind, it has to do with the very positive experience I’ve had over the years. Thanks for sharing and it’s great to see your channel grow. Keep up the good work and keep adding content. I still love seeing the fantastic scenery you have surrounding your farm, Utah is such a beautiful state.

  5. I have a 2032R I think that a 3 point finish mower would be a better choice than under belly mower because u can backup under low trees instead of trimming under them

  6. I have welded three hooks on my bucket outside left and right and center they have all came in handy for different things u can get a bar that fits on top of your bucket I believe that good works tractor sells them to strengthen your bucket i have beaten on mine pretty hard and not hurt the bucket

  7. Watch out for the wings where the top link attaches to your tractor, seems to be a JD problem in snapping off. I like Deer but must call it #2 cuz after 28 years with a 48 hp & a 42 hp & a 20 hp all 3 never one problem, issue, repair other than 2 rams & a few back hoe hoses. My FORDS WERE PERFECT, sold one about a year ago & one about 3 weeks ago (Fully retired now) keeping the little one. 28 years & runs like a deer LOL.
