Let's Make Autumn Leaf Tags!

Well hello and welcome back to my channel. It is always so lovely to see you here. Thank you so much for taking a moment out of your day to join me.

We are going to make some Autumn tags using Autumn leaves that you might have collected from your walks or garden, as well as some other alternatives if you don’t have access to real Autumn/Fall Leaves.
It is quick and easy fun and no matter what theme you are doing, I would love you to follow along with me.

  1. Love, love, love these tags Miss A! Autumn is my favourite season of all 🍂so I'm particular excited to start this Journal, it's going to be awesome! As always, your ideas bring life and repurpose to the simplest of things, thank you! Hugs and Blessings 🍂🙏🏻🫂🙏🏻

  2. If we don't sew,, how would we secure the acetate to the tags/journals? I didn't see a link for the acetate, would you give me more info so I order the correct brand/thickness/clarty/etc.? Again, lovely project, can't wait for more!!!

  3. Oh Angela, you are so funny! You will have ‘The Bard’ and poor old ‘Bulwer-Lytton’ turning in their graves! 😂 However, to important matters, I love ❤️ the tags. I love how they were distinctly different and yet all so similar. It’s amazing how a change of colour, or a change of medium, can make such a difference. One of the factors I love about paper crafting! I sometimes dry leaves and flowers in the microwave. I put the pieces between sheets of paper towel and then put my small, wooden cheese board on top! I also thought the acetate looked fabulous. It gave a ‘professional’ specimen look to the tags. Well, my Dear, you’ve done it again! Stay warm, don’t forget your socks and thanks for the giggle! 🌷🌻🌺🐨🦘🇦🇺

  4. Hello Angela 🙋‍♀️, Just a thought….. Instead of real leaves, one can use fabric leaves. This is a wonderful idea. Thank you 😊. Take care ❤️😊❤️, Hon. Laura and Lucy 🐾

  5. Absolutely LOVE the look of using the real leaves. They are all beautiful but I really like the real leaves. ♥️

  6. I'm so happy to see ways to use the lovely leaves I've collected! And for the reminder to use clear contact plastic. 🍁. TFS 🤗

  7. Very pretty Angela!! They are going to look wonderful in your journal!! Weather here has been pretty good the last couple of days considering it's the 20th of November!! We do have snow but at least's it's decent weather!! TFS!! Hugs, Liz:)

  8. Some wonderful ideas here Angela. Have you tried putting your leaves between two pieces of baking paper and iron over them (put tea-towel between top paper and iron).. As a teacher I use this method with the leaves collected by the students to make a window decoration.

  9. Angela, I love the leaves on the background paper with leaves, that look is awesome, I like the bookmarks too, but love the leaves under acetate with the background paper…xxx

  10. How gorgeous are these?!
I absolutely love you first tag/journal card! (Love all of them, actually 😉). Good choice to use the pretty leaves background paper to layer your real leaves upon. Such deep & rich colors! I'm excited & ready to learn as you show us your ideas for stamping & stenciling in this journal! Thanks, Angela!
    Best, as always! 💐

  11. How special!!! A great idea which could be adapted to just about any theme!!! But do love using the acetate over the leaves!!! I look forward to seeing what you do with the autumn journal…..which I will be leaving go to make next year…. as our autumn doesn't start till May !!! So I will have plenty of time to collect any wonderful coloured leaves in the mean time.

  12. Thank you for showing how you tie the ribbon! Who would’ve thought it could be that easy and look so smart love it💛. These tags are so nice!

  13. 🍂🍁🍃💖 Oh, I’m going to be digging in the leaf pile tomorrow!!!😂 Hopefully this time Cheeseburger doesn’t pounce on me instead of the leaves🫣🤭😜💞💜💞

  14. Oh my I love the card in the beginning. That would make a wonderful cover for a journal too. So beautiful..all the leaves and the colors

  15. Love the creativity of these tags. Thank you, Angela. You are such a wonderful person 🥰🍁🍂

  16. Very pretty tags. My favorite is the one with the actual leaves. Fall is my favorite. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving . Have a great week. 🍁🍂🦃🌞🇺🇸
