  1. My daughters were at Walmart Friday and said there weren't hardly any folks out shopping.

  2. Yea Black Friday shopping felt strange this year. I read an article that said most shoppers shopped online. Great point about it not making up for the shoppers that weren’t in stores.

  3. Giving precious metals for Christmas again this year silver and ammo.

  4. WE SHOULD NOT SHOP AT WALMART!! THEY HAVE DESTROYED ALL SMALL BUSINESSES..😪

  5. I was able to go shopping personally for the first time in months…I was at Walmart and I was shocked that there didn't seem to be more than a handful of people today..This was past church time and usually Walmart is bustling all days and all hours here..I also didn't see much that I wanted to pick up either as I was looking for stocking stuffers..I even mentioned it to the checkout person….We were speculating that they may have done their shopping on Friday so they didn't need to come today but it was very strange.

  6. It was 50/50 in my area of Upstate NY. I hear some people say they’re broke or “can’t spend much”, then comfort themselves with brand new cars (even luxury ones), luxury vacations or even go out to eat every single day.

While more and more people are cutting back, you’d be surprised there are still clueless people out there. Nothing wrong with treating yourself every once in a while.

  7. Didn't pay much attention to Wal Mart's parking lot. Lowe's was packed. I was surprised at how many cars filled our mall parking lot! Kohl's, Bed Bath & Beyond were full as well. Lol, hubby likes to call Lowe's the 'Man Mall'. It was certainly like a candy store for him – with all of the black friday deals right up front.

  8. I went out yesterday and stores were not crowded at all. I went to Sam’s Club first, and it was pretty empty. I went to the Dollar Tree and it there were not the amount of people you would expect. I went to a thrift shop and a second hand clothing shop (usually very busy on a Saturday. I stopped at an Arby’s and it had a handful of people. Very weird. I got some pretty good deals, though! I’m in Southern Indiana.

  9. I do want to say that I think I saw it on the Epic Economist, where Wal Mart was bracing for a not so busy Black Friday event (I know that I've heard this somewhere, but I just can't remember exactly where). Anyway, supposedly, they didn't order as much merchandise. Are they trying to Amp up for Cyber Monday instead, perhaps to rid us of Black Friday? We did not pass by Wal Mart that day, but other stores here seemed to all have full parking lots.

  10. No people at Walmart – I love it!!!! Our walmart is always a madhouse and quite frankly I hate it.

  11. My wife just got back from Wal-Mart…she said there wasn't many people there and the "deals" were not deals. Not much of a mark down.

  12. One of the reasons is because the utilities are going up along with gas and food. In other news the UK government is trying to make it inappropriate to read the Bible in public according to the news here's the link https://youtu.be/WNiO9c0QlDY

  13. Ella and Teddy are both so precious! I did zero Black Friday shopping at all this weekend. None of my family did any shopping either. We are all spending less than half of normal this year and planning simple gatherings and a more traditional, less commercial Christmas. I am hearing everyone say that the sales were not even tempting because the supposed big bargain prices, are the same as regular prices before the extreme markups of late. Everyone is tightening the belt because of fear of more extreme increases to come on essentials like food so watching my budget.

  14. The huge number of companies all giving pink slips by text, emails, zoom call and such just shows what lack of respect so many employers have for their employees. This has become rampant across America. They only care about the shareholders. Is it any surprise that employees have lost the dedication and strive to perform at their best.

  15. Ella and Teddy are the cutest fur babies on YouTube! I didn’t go to the store sales. I’m ordering most of my gifts from my very talented son, who makes many different items. Thank you for the Word. God Bless you and Mrs. Dawg.

  16. Publix in central florida on a Sunday is usually pretty crowded…
I went in this afternoon, and it wasn’t crowded at all…

  17. United Furniture sounds like a garbage company, Probably more profitable to screw their workers over than do the right thing. Never forget these pos companies. Buy local if you can.

  18. We visited both Home Depot and Lowes this past Saturday morning and we were pleasantly surprised by the lack of people. They are usually very busy on Saturday mornings in our area. People are definitely scaling back.

  19. I think people are doing exactly what the elite have planned and are playing right into there hands. I think they want everybody to spend spend spend for the holidays maxing themselves out paying the inflated prices.. as the prices inflate more and Christmas is around the corner.. I know electricity in Maine goes up in price January 2023.. I think people are spending a lot of there money trying to maintain the life style and status they had and not wanting to accept that “things have changed” and refuse to accept reality.. the shit isn’t coming! We in it 💯

  20. Also could be because of all the active shooters going into Walmart and retail stores.. or people shooting each other over no lettuce on there cheeseburger 🍔 worlds going crazy right now! Stay stay, stay frosty and look out for each other ✌️

  21. E-remote layoff = employer afraid ppl. coming in and go postal. Also since 1/2 of America agreed with Dem that no recession/inflation issues during midterm….guess we’ll suffer 2 more yr under Brandon.

  22. Iowa walmart was not busy here either. Most people buying food . My gifts to family will be cheap and practical.

  23. Would it be better or worse if the internet were suddenly go away forever and we had to live like we did before; I guess cell phones would also have to go down.

  24. Walmart is nolonger doing in store black Friday, all their sale merch was online. We needed a laptop a few weeks ago, and they would not sell em to us, because they were for their " Online Sale ". Getting closer to the mark…Ya cant have it unless ya do it their way. 😕

  25. Hi Brother, Thank you for the scripture and sharing your experience with us. God Bless you and your family Amen

  26. N Myrtle Beach SC we passed the outlet mall and traffic appeared horrendous on Black Friday with police helping direct traffic. Saturday we attempted to drive into the parking lot but ended up skipping it… couldn’t even find a parking spot!
