    I appreciate yalls channel. I have a Magnolia soulangeana in a pot that's maybe a couple inches wider than the pot in the video. It's mulched and has a proprietary magnolia/ azaelea specific soilI haven't watered in about 2 weeks but the soil is still damp; I have fungus gnats! How do I get rid of them with this cold weather making it harder to dry out the pots ??

    Thanks for information and inspiration. Having a small lot and a huge plant addiction/collection🤩 I appreciate being able to plant in containers that I can put all over the yard. When plants get too big I can share the plants with friends and get new ones for me🙂

    This year, containers of every sort, especially large containers, were super expensive. I solved the problem of potting a beautiful My Monet purple weigela by purchasing a galvanized bushel basket by Behrens and drilling some drainage holes in the bottom. I got mine on sale for about $17, they're usually closer to $25. It is attractive, winter-proof, and much more reasonably priced than the ceramic/fiberglass/polyresin pots I've seen for $70 and up.
