I am organizing my yard and happen to stir up many earthworms by chance. Those worms just make my day😊
I have a question, I haven’t been able to start a garden outside yet but I have started a few herbs inside and MANY house plants . I have pest issues (aphids at the moment from having to switch out our front door wasn’t on for a few hours; I did have mealy bugs before; from not quarantining new plant)inside, does that mean I will have them outside as well? Sorry probably a silly question and maybe you don’t know but figured I would ask. Thank you for sharing!

I collected some leaves off my lilies today and put them in a bucket. I am going to plant some flowers in with my vegetables, and some vegetables in my flower beds lol. Thank you for the video!

Hey Robbie, l bought some questionable potting mix too. Nothing grew & it compacted down in my containers. Have you ever added coco peat to old potting mix to make it fluffier?

Robbie, when testing soil for herbicides the best crop to use is beans. Throw a few beans in a pot of new soil and you'll know within a couple of weeks whether or not your soil is contaminated. ~ Lisa

Did just what you are doing today . . . collected and pruned summer debris and leaves, tossed in a bucket – saved for a new planter tote. I've gardened for over 30 years but this way of doing it is SOOOOOOO much easier. And I've never seen so many earthworms ever. Clearly the birds and bees and worms love it.

Love the tips on tricking your plants that it's warmer than it is. My peppers grew such strong stems.. I did the tp paper roll and veg. scrapes. Thanks for thet tip. Hi Robbie, I watched a video today (seriously!) explaining composting your family members. (deceased first of course) They showed the process and how rich the 'special' soil is. The company gives you a good quantity of ''family' soil to take home and put in your garden or plant a tree. Wasn't sure if I should laugh or be aghast! Trees, leaves, branches and Uncle Bob….. lol
Lol, I collect all my leaves and neighbors leaves, they don't know what they're missing out on.
I have a palo verde tree that drops a lot of needles. Can I use them in the bottom of my containers? Is it a good idea to chop them into smaller pieces?
