The JOYS of CLONING #shorts #gardening #mint

Operation Propagation: My goal is to replace all the grass in my yard with mint. Mint is a SUPER easy to clone. So since my sweet mint original plant is growing so well I figured why not clone it and spread it all over.

Cuttings from mint plants are easy to propagate. Select a healthy stem from the parent plant and cut it just below a node. Remove the leaves from the bottom half of the stem and place the stem in a rooting hormone or a glass of water. Keep it in a warm, sunny location.

Can mint be grown from cuttings?

Yes, mint can be grown cuttings, also known as propagating mint. Propagating is simply means producing a plant that is identical (genetically speaking) to its parent by means of dividing, taking cuttings, etc.
Some plants are more difficult to propagate than others, but with mint, a little patience and plant care will result in your very own little mint patch.

Like many other herbs, mint can easily be grown in many growing zones in the United States and throughout the world. Let’s propagate!
