As plant lovers, it can be hard to let go of something that we’ve tried so hard to keep alive. But today, I’m doing just that – and I’m giving you permission to do the same.
It’s ok to let go of the frustrating plant that just isn’t growing. Maybe it’s in the wrong soil, not getting enough light, or maybe got a bit too much “love” (water).
While it feels like you’re throwing away a piece of your soul… The same way you might hold on to bad habits because they’re comforting in some way. I promise it’ll open up new space for good things ahead of you.
There will always be another plant to care for, and one that does better in your house or garden.

LOL – it's hard!
So hard for me. It's life- it feels like I am killing something. 😫
We put them at the back of our yard (woods) If it wants to live it’ll find a way, if not it’s okay. We do the same with old soil. It’s sooo hard!

I kind of love throwing these types away. My partner drives me crazy and doesn't want to throw any away, but he also doesn't care for them like I do. Every plant is a whole job, and the high maintenance ones take so much fun out of doing that job. Whenever I feel like certain plants feel like a CHORE I toss em. Or let them die slowly if they're too big to toss.
Also if anyone feels guilty and like they're "killing" something: 99.9999% of plants like this are not native to our immediate surroundings, so technically you are doing the environment a favor by killing off a few!
