  1. I graft my own multi-variety trees. What I have learned to do is graft on to a root stock as the possible places to graft on to get just big enough to graft to. I just made two multi-variety pear trees, one tree mostly Asian pear varieties, the other tree all European pear varieties. Most of the graft places I needed I grafted to recently, and I will finish grafting next year when the few other places are thick enough to graft to.

I have tried pink Guava recently, as I thought it was picked way too early, and it had way more seeds than they normally have, yet it was very vaguely good. As you know they rot very fast after being picked if they are picked ripe, so the only way that I will find any ripe ones is if I get them picked ripe, like off of a tree of mine. I will be trying some varieties and making a multi variety tree, I will even have a dwarf Guava tree to use as root stock to make a more pot friendly tree. We'd have to bring it in every year so I don't want a huge pot or a huge grow bag for it.

Our loquat seedlings all survived the winter in an unheated/uninsulated shed for the second year in a row. It went down to upper teens a few times in the shed. Two of them are looking way better than the rest, yet all 4 will survive this year well.

  2. Thank you for sharing. You have a lovely property with amazing trees. A question about the iv organics paint. I see theres other colors (brown and green) do you suggest white over the other colors?

  3. Hi just came across your channel on my feed. First love your trees in containers we done it at our first property and had to leave them with the sale of the property. So we are starting over from scratch. The question i have is for mulching can I use it in containers for our vegetables such as all viny like tomatoes cucumbers ect. Thank you and we are new subscriber to your channel from the wild wild west of AZ mountains.

  4. Do you have a way to send me a few Meyer lemon cuttings? Mine died in the Texas freeze last month. I also lost my Rio Red Grapefruit. However, the rootstock is still alive on both. I can graft onto them.

  5. Thai cuisine use a lot of Kiffir lime leaves in their dishes. Like curry, coconut soup ect.. also they use the kiffir fruit (skin part) for hair.. for thickness, healthy and shine

  6. I’m growing Meyer lemon and there’re tons of flowers and tiny fruits Bunch up together. Now all fruits dropped on that particular branch and other branches I’m sure and we had a really windy day. Now I’m not sure if it’s because of the wind? 2) is it because they needed water? Im watering it every 3 days or should I do every other day?? Or 3 it decided to drop on its own because too much to handle? Like I heard that it will drop if the tree can’t handle a certain amount.. pls help me to understand. Thanks

I just bought Persian lime tree and I’m a little excited too 😊

  7. Good morning I just bought a Meiwa kumquat tree it just came in the mail how should I plant it in a container

  8. What variety is your blood orange? I grow in containers also but God willing I’ll have some pant to plant soon. Can’t wait until my Eureka looks like that.

  9. Well done on the video. I just came across your video and am glad I did. Love the container plants because they can be relocated easily. Very good tips on gardening. Thanks for sharing 🙂

  10. Your collection of fruit trees are very inspiring. What happened to your Avocado tree?

  11. I need your help please. I have 3 city is trees: a mandarin, Valencia orange and navel orange. I brought all 3 almost a month ago and they were all flowering and suddenly lose 90 percent of flowers and fruit. The Valencia has gained a lot of growth and way more new flowers though. I do water daily and every other day and fertilize with IV organic, citrus tone and coffee grown. I check the soil ph and it’s very acidic. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
