  1. Man you are lucky with the equipment though, I wanted to buy that little precision power supply once but the price was crazy and it was only 120V which would mean another modification so I left it.

Congratulations on this fancy catch and have a nice day 🙂 Tom

  2. Some day I am going to visit the area – there are yet a few empty cracks in my basement that need filling.

  3. Soon you're going to need the "Dr. Who Tardis" effect…garage is bigger on the inside than it is on the outside! 😂

  4. Some really neat gear! You must live right. My Wavetek Model 184 Sweep generator has tags on it from the Johnson Space Center.

  5. My PD 2005A needed only a clean of the switches and now works like new. It is a beauty and very useful as well.

  6. I have one of those Power Design precision power supplies. It used to work but the last time I fired it up it was dead so someday I have to dig into that one!

  7. Wow! Those are nice to have. May the memory of the previous owner be a blessing. (I hope he didn't die from electrocution! Check to see if the chassis is hot after you plug it in.)

  8. "I JUST SCORED A BUNCH OF AWESOME SHIT" "Be a patron" I'm just bitter. Thanks for the videos!

  9. Looking forward to seeing the inside of that isotemp DOCXO. I have a buch of trimble oscillators of a similar format, and am curious to see how they compare. Thanks for the videos.

  10. I have an old Krohn-Hite filter unit that I picked up on ebay. I could not find any manuals online for my model, so I contacted Krohn-Hite directly and they emailed a copy of the service manual to me. Perhaps they can do the same for your gear.

  11. I managed a Metrology lab at a large aerospace corporation and we had those EDC voltage standards until we moved to the big Fluke calibrators like the 5100 and 5700 series in the 1990’s. Cool find and I wish I had one in my small home lab.

  12. Do you have a Geiger counter? Would be interesting to see if any of the equipment with the National Lab stickers are emitting anything higher than ambient. Very cool!!!

I know this will sound ridiculous but I have to ask. Because the equipment is vintage and assume that everything was calibrated before it went into storage and aside from the equipment coming out of calibration from movement(moved from place to place, etc.) what will have to be compensated for when you do a calibration? Do you have to tear the equipment down to clean and thereby have to recalibrate. I promise I didn’t eat paint chips as a child. Pure curiosity
