Tony 🤔. Please pick that Cauliflower, It won't grow any bigger this time of year, It will start to rot👍. Your Plot is looking Great for this time of Year 😁. Take care 🙏
Enjoyed that Tony my garden is under the snow now . Like watching you guys in the UK for my garden fix this time of year keep them coming. Thanks
With the parsnips, the foliage has little benefit if any right now so I cut it back, this makes it easier for the frost to get at the roots and when that happens the starch turns to sugar and sweetens the roots, whish is desirable for parsnips. Cutting the foliage back also allows for mulching IF we get a prolonged cold spell forecast which might freeze the ground around them, making them difficult to harvest. In that case I will cover/mulch with a few layers of sheet cardboard or some fleece or carpet to just stop or hinder ground freeze, making subsequest harvest easier…Steve…🙂
Drill a few holes in that low corner, it will act as a soak away tony mate👌
