  1. I relate to you Ken i am hard Sharkophobia little doodles of them makes me uncomftorble and what made me afraid of them is Bruce in Nemo

  2. I have Thalassophobia so I get Ken. It was actually a result of being a child, with unrestricted access to YouTube and a now murdered obsession with mermaids. Thanks to Discovery Channel's fake documentaries, I have what I'm assuming, is a life long fear of not just the ocean but any natural body of water that's bigger than a neighborhood pond. 😀 It causes immense stress to be near them in person and even in video games…(sounds ridiculous but I even avoided the oceans in minecraft when drowning was the only real concern)

  3. The Leedsichthys in ARK which is fairly harmless unless you're on a boat and it comes out of nowhere like AHHHHHHHHH. Destroys everything. It happened to us once and now we stick to the beach when on boats. Fine going through on a Megalodon through the deep sea though 😀

  4. I have a few phobias 😅:
    *Trypophobia
*Emetophobia (the worst for me, I rather die than have anything to do with vomit)
    *Grasshoppers
    *Spirders
    *Bees/wasps (allergic)
    *The Sea
    *Hights
    *Smallspaces

  5. Imagine one of these people have thalasslaphobia and just throw them in the ocean

  6. A fear of clowns could be caused by the uncanny valley effect. Similar to human looking robots we see clowns as human but something is not quite right about them. Which we are biologically engineered to dislike about a human-esque. Clowns are undoubtedly human but the face that's made through makeup with a permanent smile can trigger this effect.

  7. I am also afraid of the deep ocean…was terrified playing Subnautica(bellow zero) at the beginning of the game…started to relax when I got closer to the end, it kind of helped a bit with the fear(still have it thought)

  8. Some fobias are perfectly acceptable for all of us to have, after all, they are SURVIVAL instincts kicking in, and not merely "phobias". Say, fear of heights? OF COURSE, do you wanna die if you fall? Thats self preservation right there. Scared of spiders? Ever heard of a brown recluse? Google it. Afraid of bears? You SHOULD be… else you think that brown bear is coming towards you for a hug?

Now, there are some silly phobias which people should just get treated because they put no one in danger. Scared of cotton? …. really? Of clowns? Balloons? C'mon now… these do not hurt you.

Now, Dane, this one is for you, if you could comment please:
So I have this shoe cabinet which holds around 20 pairs. I'm always going there to pick a different one each day before heading out, right. One day I get a pair of shoes, sit down on the couch in order to prepare and wear them, and as I shake the shoe vertically, here comes rolling this huge-dry-corpse of a brown spider (fella looked almost like a tarantula), tumbling down till it hits the floor. Its legs were all squeezed tight in a ball, like a small mail package. Makes me wonder, though……………. that spider corpse being dry as f—, just… how long as it been dead and squeezed tight in there? WHEN did I even kill it? Can you imagine how many weeks I'be been walking with that thing pressed between my sock and the shoe wall inside? Yeah. Food for thought. >___<

  9. Something that has helped me get past a lot of spider fear is education. It takes time for that info to sink in, but studying insects and spiders reveals how harmless they really often are. Like how if a spider runs towards you, it’s not attacking; it can’t comprehend that you’re a living thing right off the bat, bc you’re so big! It thinks you’re shelter and is trying to hide. It’s critical to remember that spiders are, like all living things, just trying to survive, and feel fear just as much as us ♥️

  10. When I was kid my dad wouldn't let me watch IT, when asleep I sneaked downstairs put tape in AND…. I didn't sleep or move until daylight came through curtain lol, not scared now but as kid I S H A T myself lol I'd love swim with sharks, heights no bother me BUT falling does lol spiders all good with, did you know when you sleep over course your life you swallow tonnes spiders

  11. I mean, the clowns are mostly on the internet but their person counterpart probably goes outside once in a while.

I got a scare of heights, at least in most cases I can recall. Ironically, the window seats the best seat on the planed because the scare doesn't take me there, though the only reason for that's likely the thought that if I fall, so does the plane.

  12. Ken has to play Maneater, that might cure him of his shark phobia. BEING THE SHARK.
