  1. life expectancy is dropped the last few years. Could being injected with some potion, that was only tested on mice before, might have something to do with it?

  2. If we can get rid of corn syrup, and the other 3 pages of names for this "hidden" poison, Americans would have a chance of dying without several diseases crippling them first.
    I'd like to add that many "americans" just don't care. The ones that care are frustrated at the hidden poisons, younger people saying "I'll get healthy when I'm older". I'll spare you my soapbox speech but please, it all starts with $$ in the pockets of the politicians. Stop talking and do something.

    A lower risk of heart disease and cancer for you and a better planet for everyone, human and animals.
    Eating healthy is not a diet it is a healthy life style.

  6. You are what you eat. Your diet impacts your health.
    Lower stress, reduce obesity and more exercise are key to a healthy life.
    Obesity in children and adults is rising across the world.
    Fast food and sugary drinks are contributing to the problem of poor health and obesity.
    Eat a healthy plant based diet and exercise regularly.
    Reduce or ELIMINATE cows milk, eggs, cheese and meat. Eat more salad greens, beans, fruit and vegetables. Eliminate fast food, snacks like cookies, cakes, chips, and sugary drinks and juices.
    Every adult and child should own a bicycle and ride it regularly.

    Sourdough Bread isn't so bad.

    I can easily give up every other kind of bread, even my favorite squishy-soft Wonder white bread, if I can have sourdough. Make that EXTRA-Sour.

  9. Funny to hear eating mice mentioned. Years ago a book about Canadian homesteaders had a recipe in it for “Field Mouse Casserole “ which required 6 plump field mice. Never tried it.

  12. 220 lbs of meat per year is too much? That equates to <10 oz a day which would undoubtedly create a protein deficit for the vast majority of people. Same old plant based BS. I'm not wasting 46 minutes of my life to listen to the nonsense.

    I have cut my diet to meat and organic lettuce and some roasted vegetables 3 times a week.
    It is very rare for me to eat anything else.
    Even fruits and vegetables cause hard pain in my body.
    He seems to be a bit off course to me.

  15. Well someone else is eating the meat, refined foods and sugar for me and part of my family so would guess you have to double those bad foods for someone else. Not doing the dairy either so double it for someone else too.

  16. Dan Buettner- "If you overweight and unhealthy living in America, it's probably not you fault." It is a shame that they don't teach nutrition and food prep in school. Luckily, a person can easily learn both using the internet.

  17. What I don't understand is why doctors like Mark are talking about how food and cooking at home are the secrets to a healthy long life and then they promote supplements. Lots of doctors are doing it now.
    They should know that people in the Blue Zones, we do not take any supplements….may be only Vitamin D at an older age.
