Symbol of France’s glory, Versailles is probably the most splendid royal palace in Europe. This collection offers a sensitive and endearing portrait of the monarchs and recreates their life, loves and political willpower.

From Elizabeth II to Cleopatra, Real Royalty peels back the curtain to give a glimpse into the lives of some of the most influential families in the world, with new full length documentaries posted every week covering the monarchies of today and all throughout history.

  1. I think other dynasties could give them a run …for.example the ones who combined executing the Templers with the very scandalous Tour de Nesle affair ….plus basically shanghai-ing the Popacy to France

  2. Seems like humans are incapable of learning history's lessons. I see the ancien regime in America today. Wonder how it will end this time…

  3. Why didn’t they just sell all their jewelry for bread to hand out to the people? A small way to show the people that they cared for them. It doesn’t matter now.

  4. Fleur-de-lys worn by a family that served as Monarchy for so long

The will of the people turned sour the result of confusion,

There never was no bad that descended from the “good of Henri IV”,

But then around this world has lands with out a Monarchy

Lands that are lost and devoid of there soul.

  5. England was never crushed so hard by their rival than in this time with their ruler. English royalty was in shambles and switching rulers left and right, when they even had one. Now was the time that they were ruled by foreigners, not a foreign blooded person on their land, but a person that sat on a throne across the waves. France? The most powerful monarchy they were to ever have.

  6. The fall of the Bourbon dinasty… And they still reigning in 2022 in Spain. Viva la casa Capetiana de Borbón
