  1. I've been always wondering since you moved in the new workshop, does the whole floor act like a drain? Looks like all the water just disappears 🙂

  2. Estou assistindo vc aqui do Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, parabéns pelo belo trabalho e pelos conteúdos postados!

  3. What shampoo hoover do you guys use? Seems to be a powerful suction and spray on it

  4. Its a 2L petrol engine. They handle well in snow and minus temps and as cheap as chips over here in europe. (Q) You did NOT do wheel arches or underneath as well as under the carpets insides, they needed a scrub ! You dont explain what exactly the type of chemicals youre using and what the quality of the paint is close up. Why ?

  5. too much work for a beetle, especially this model. If it was the mk1 then sure i can see people spending thousands to restore it. But this? naah. It’s also a biohazard sooo… not worth it. Once you get mold in your car, you can never 100% get rid of it

  6. Just out of curiosity, when you record the sped-up bits, do you record it in 30fps, then speed it up 2x to make it 60fps? I am looking into following this path as a hobby and may want to record it.

  7. Great effort and looks soo much better. Personally I’d still have scrapped it. It’s not a particularly good model but it’s come up well. The floor pan needs addressing though!

  8. 2.0 for the motor.

Y’all are the only ones I see that routinely remove the carpeting. Seems like the only way to do it right.

I’d definitely fix it and sell it. The hood and front bumper definitely need some love.

  9. This is the famous 1.9 TDI PD (EA188 series): the most reliable 4 cylinder Turbo Diesel engine that VW made from 1996 to 2010. If maintained properly, it lasted forever! The acronym “PD” means in German “Pumpe-Düse”: that new injection system was with pump injectors. I fell in love with this engine… ❤

  10. From a purely financial "worth" standpoint there may be little to no value left. Sentimentally, however, it's priceless!

  11. Sell it for scrap. New Beetles are not very popular now. If it was the 1.8T Turbo model maybe fix it up (6 speed).

  12. If the owner didnt have the accident while It was trying to fix the car i'll clean It completely etc…
But that Cars got the problem, then when the owner try to fix It got an accident and dies…
    This car is Evil…
Don't believe in bad luck or stuff like that….but i'll choose give the problem to someone else and don't test my luck…

  13. Guarantee the mold was due in part to clogged sun roof drains. The vase was wired over to the dash light dimmer with an led to light up the vase when the lights got switched on.

Were the plastics (interior) sticky? I have an 01 beetle that sat for about 4 years. Every piece of plastic turned sticky. I'm trying to figure out what to use to unsticky it. You guys did a great job on that beetle. What happened to the louvers? I'd be interested in them. 😁

  14. I was so relived when you got rid of those hideous decals! You end result was amazing per usual, the paint looked so glossy and slick, those rust spots are unfortunate though.

  15. Take a video about this , The world is now ruled by one community of people, the world Satanic elite, you can also call them the committee to meet the Antichrist and prevent the 2nd coming of Jesus, Trump called them the deep state, at the moment it consists of about 10,000 people, the main ones there are Rockefellers, Rothschilds, Windsors, Baruchs, they, their ancestors, descendants and other people who enter there have the mark of Lucifer, which, if they bring the antichrist and do not allow the 2nd coming, they will receive eternal life after the x hour, and the rest of humanity, for all the time that they have lived, they won't get anything, so all people should know about the existence of a world government

  16. really enjoyed this video. I love how you had the restorative goal from the beginning, and had an opportunity to get some items to replace and restore/repair (not usually a detail thing). I really like how you only show the finished car at the end, and not edit in a bunch of 'before' shots- its so much better the way you did it, with only the finished car at the end.

  17. Nice job! However, I would remove wheels and clean the barrels. Also, headlights will fall again quickly unless you put some coating to protect the plastic from UV.
