Have a merry Christmas and a happy New Year 🎉
I'm hoping to have a big bowl of my own strawberries for Xmas lunch. So far I'm picking everyday but my chooks are getting a lot as it has very wet and humid and the berries start to go off.. my husband won't let me harvest my new potatoes til Xmas too so hopefully we'll have those!.
Hi Emma, good to see you again. Hope your throat gets completely healed very very soon. You are such a joy to watch, you remind me of little children in a toy shop as you took out the parsnips ( which by the way turned out fab, well done!!). Do hope we see you before Christmas. In the event that we don't let me wish you and your beautiful family good health and happiness. Have a truly Merry Christmas and God bless!!!!
Wow Emma definitely 1st prize for the parsnips, love your videos, glad you are feeling better 👍
Happy holidays Emma, and all the best for you and you're family for 2023 xxx
Congratulations on the harvest, don't keep putting yourself down your doing great in fact far better than me
Congratulations on your parsnip harvest they were superb. And thank you for showing your plot in the snow. Will you save the wood for projects, or will you use the wood to keep warm?. If you don’t do a vlog before Christmas have a great time.
Yes you can eat the tops and nice leaves. If you leave plant in the ground and just pick off sprouts from bottom all the way up later on in new year near spring they will send out littles shoots which is the plant going to seed but b4 these shoots flower you can eat them and they are delish
It is damage from wet but you can eat it and cut off the black bits or leave to flower
They are amazing your parsnips you can leave some in the ground you don’t have to dig them all
Well done you. You have had an amazing year on your plot
You're so funny Emma. I love watching your allotment diaries, very interesting to see what you're up to.
The entire sprouts plant is edible.
I'm going to harvest my sprouts for christmas.
Brilliant Emma, you make me smile. It’s a great YouTube place to come to fingers crossed the sprouts and parsnips well they just look amazing so well done and so glad you’re feeling better
4:54 ha haaa! Totally need to do a blooper real of spider 🕷️ finds 🤣🤣
Hey Emma ,brought some of those gloves you recommended a few vlogs ago ,and they are fine
Wonderful parsnips!
Lovely to see the plot in all weather's. Hope your feeling better emma and merry Christmas 🤶 🎄
Hi Emma brussel sprout tops are a delicacy in the chef world alot of chefs try to get them, yes you can eat them they are delicious, the parsnips will be lovely after the cold spell we have all had.I wouldnt of watered the plants in the polytunnel with the ice water, they will get a shock, better to get the water leave it in the watering can in poly to warm up a bit limit the shock to plants. take care Steve
i've been gardening for over 60 years and i don't know everything. you are not alone on that score. that giant sprout on top is VERY edible, emma. it's a bit like a miniature cabbage. most times they are destroyed by aphids or pigeons, but if it has survived, enjoy, i would certainly eat it………………..brian
