Family Builds TIMBER FRAME TINY HOME to Achieve Financial Freedom (30 Min Timelapse) — Ep. 140

Chris and Blessing Gibson have decided to architect their life by building the tiny home of their dreams—a timber frame with all the fixings! They called on the help of their extended family to see through the project, so it was definitely a family affair. They were able to build and assemble the entire tiny house within the barn at FLOCK, so we were fortunate enough to film the entire process, which you’ll get to see within 30 minutes here.

If you’re looking to stay in a timber frame similar to this one, you can check out Dean, the builder’s location here: http://www.smallgracesatforgetmenotfarm.com/farmstay

  1. Summer, that was an interesting project. Did I miss how you came about to be involved with this project and use your barn? Loved seeing Sander in his element. I can tell he enjoyed talking about the process. He was very thorough when asking all the pertinent questions. I would love to see it all finished inside. Good job!! Great video on a cold winter day!!🌬 👍

  2. This was so exciting to watch. What a beautiful house they built
Thank you for bringing this on your channel guys!!! 🎉

  3. The whole project seems to have been perfectly orchestrated/organized, to include the video. Were there any problems, during these phases, which presented themselves, as is usually the case, with every inevitably surprise-packed construction project? Beautiful craftsmanship. Wishing them a happy home. Will he use Solar or wind energy to supplement other sources? The drive-out was pretty exciting. As kids, we saw 2 full-sized houses being slowly transported down the highway. It is still an amazing sight to see, even when it is a 'tiny house.' That was fun.

  4. Summer, do you know if there will be a follow up video when the interior is complete? Great video, I saw and heard everything I wanted to. Well done.

  5. Really love the idea and this tour. So appreciate what you all do to provide these concepts for us, your audience. Sander, please practice not interrupting the person you're interviewing. 😊 Dean is a wealth of knowledge but we missed out on some of that because you completed his sentences or cut him off. It takes practice and just a friendly suggestion. I appreciate you sharing this experience!

  6. Got a glimpse of the MEADOW HOME, when can we see the inside?

  7. Cool. What is the name of the builder? (I checked out the link but didn't see anything about tiny house building…?)

  8. Really loved this video as I've admired Tiny homes for yrs..
Greatly appreciated the explanations of how it was built and why it was done that way. Great quality build much better compared to most videos I've seen. When exiting the barn 😉 Again it was very obvious this was not his First Rodeo.🤣
Hope you show where it was placed.
Enjoy all your videos however this is a top favorite for me.
    Happy Trails from NM.

  9. Very cool..all is see is patience now and in the future..The build and the marriage..lol Always wonder how long a couple can take living in such tight conditions..
Very interesting, though..great of you to give permission to use your garage. Appreciate yah

  10. That is a very well built home. Tiny homes are intriguing and I watch some videos about them on YouTube. It's amazing how much is utilized in smaller spaces…and how everything fits, like in a traditional sized home, and they look very comfortable and cozy. A lot of clever ideas go into using every inch of space. It would be nice to see a tour of this home when it's fully completed and furnished. Thank you, Summer.

  11. Flock Finger Lakes—I subscribe to your YouTube channel. I appreciate your Cornell educated approach to botany. Questions: Who is your target audience and what is your vision/goal for your property?
