  1. Hey Curtis, great vid. Canada real estate is very different, I bought a house on 2 acres 2 years ago and locked in FOR 30 YEARS 2.6% interest in the US. Typical mortgages in the US are either 15 or 30 year fixed or variable. I saw the writing on the wall in 2020 and went for the absolute lowest monthly payment possible. we have a car that costs more per month than the house haha. Solar coming, wood heat, wifi… we living. See you in the new world bud

  2. As many leaders are steering social media left downwards. Some are following at a distance not realizing they are drifting down instead of holding the line and staying true

  3. It’s been hitting the fan a few years. Many dull sighted skulls full of mush so used to eating poo, have adjusted their taste buds

  5. Don't forget about the stress test, people need to qualify to carry a mortgage rate even higher than the posted rates. Tough slugging.

  6. Great stuff man. Even though we bought our house in OC CA we have 20 chickens, 1000 Sq ft of garden and supportive neighbors who do the same

  7. In the 60s my parents mortgage was fixed for the life of the agreement at 6.0%. Everyone with cash wanted to buy these homes so they could assume the rest of the mortgage term. Mortgages are in an indirect way tied to energy prices. But first you have to know that GDP and energy use charts show a nearly perfect correlation. So if we look at hockeystick debt levels and the opposite chart in energy we see there is no way debts can be repaid. In a world of diminishing energy, defaulting on debts are inevitable. So yes, homes will be repossessed and the banks will try to sell the properties to companies like Blackrock, and they will try to rent the properties back to people. If someone can outcompete for this real estate, great, but I would not recommend anyone buy until the system collapses. The real quandry is where do you put your savings until that moment presents itself? It is VERY difficult to predict the future. All we can do is enjoy ourselves and try to create as anti-fragile a lifestyle as possible. Best wishes to us all.

  8. Have you listened to any Whitney Webb interviews ? She wrote a bunch on organized crime connection to intelligence agencies. The reason I bring it up is the connections she makes to markets and all that.

  9. Tax deductible mortgages are possible and legal in Canada. Look it up. It may save your home ownership.

  10. I'm 27 and have about $200k saved for when the prices come back down to purchase land. I believe a lot of people who bought land and during covid will be dumping it to maintain there liefestyles as inflation erodes there savings.

  11. Thanks Curtis you have the same outlook as me and it helps cement my feelings about this. I have a property between Oliver and Osoyoos right in the original golden mile. Had my variable rate go from a $1100 payment to $2300 payment in the last few months. I can handle them but not looking forward to what is coming. Would love to reach out to you sometime for a chat.

  12. Near 100% increase. I looked and it was 18-19% in the early 80s. The new generation of globalists wanna piece of it while the getting good for them. If they wait they wont be able to enjoy all the excess billions

I am 62 now and still find the age old Biblical advice always work when I needed to be heard be it politics, encouragement, teaching, deciding a case.

When time and words are involved for me the guideline, no matter the platform is: Colossians 4:5–6 (ESV): Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person. 🤗🙏🇿🇦

  14. Corporate digital surveillance knows everything about ppl behavior, and will sell them what they want via Alexa or Google home. Asian millionaires and corporate firms will own everything. Corporations and hutterite own and continue to buy up most good farm land in Canada.

  15. YouTube has not been a free speech platform since the Nazis acquired it in the form of the CIA.
If you allowed yourself to be pointed in the direction of trending, the people are almost uniformly ultra retard, paedo trash.

  16. I'm in the UK and everything is pretty much double the price I've seen people quoting. By the grace of God I hope to move next year. I doubt very much I will get much for my budget, 550 to 650 thousand sterling.
I haven't borrowed for around 15 years. So interest rates are not a concern, for me, I'm better off if they go up! I've spent very little and just bought mostly what we need not what we want. You've done amazing looking after your family, God Bless.

  17. If the current trend continues, we will see the world of real estate be decimated just as it was in the 1980’s. What goes up must come down.

  18. What am I looking forward to with Curtis? Spring..sowing, growing and seeing his land come to life and what will change with his second growing season. Can’t wait!!

I am also on FTF to get the growing goods 🥰

  19. This is interesting. Thank you for sharing Canadian numbers with interest rates and costs of goods. I have been saving receipts from groceries since January 2021 just to see the trends of cost increases.

  20. global worming crap out the window, as we go into the new weather cycle there will be less spring and fall but wormer longer summers and colder longer winters,
