– KINGSLEY NORTH –
Kingsley North is a lapidary store in Michigan’s U.P. They make a great cab machine and sell many other brands too. They have a huge selection rough rock, tumblers, grit, jewelry supplies etc. at good prices. I buy most of my coarse grit from here in 45 lb. bags. It’s the best price I have found. If you buy using the following link, I make a small commission.

This is the cabbing machine I use:

– THE ROCK SHED –
I buy a lot of lapidary supplies from The Rock Shed. I don’t make money from your purchases there, but they have good prices and good service. This is where I buy my finer grits and polish.
– AMAZON STOREFRONT –
I also have an Amazon storefront. This is where you can find other products you may have seen in my videos. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. It doesn’t cost you extra.

Lovely path, I think grass is overrated as well. It takes a lot of work or weed killer to maintain. But as the plants in the gardens grow they just look better
Gorgeous
Nice work dude! The rocks really suit the gardens and your yard is beautiful 👌
Absolutely beauteous! (Texan for more than beautiful). We've recently purchased a few acres and are going to build our retirement home there. During the process of contouring the land for water control, we've found numerous large rocks and fossils. As do you, I love the gifts from the Earth as well as those I tumble. I plan to "borrow" some of your ideas when the time comes. Thanks so much for sharing.
Two years isnt that long considering what you accomplished. Definitely no grass. It looks nice.
I hate mowing … but I love the smell of freshly mown grass … decisions decisions….
Did you plant all the trees in your yard, it's a little forest, looks great?
Nice garden
No grass
Magnificent landscaping! I think you missed your calling. Did you also choose the plants or hire a landscaper? Will Columbine grow there? I think they would be a beautiful addition and add some color to the shade. I'm so impressed. You have a wonderful naturalized paradise.
No grass, but—no veggies? Your yard is just beautiful. Whoops, there is grass. I lied.
You do great work 🤩💪👍👌 😊 fabulous lots better than grass 😍. TFS 🤗
Just a quick note – might be a good idea to black out your license plate in the video.
Love the yard!
Sir, I’m a French stone masson and I would say to you that you can be proud of your work.
Very very nice!!
No grass.. .but uh.. you might have a rock compulsion .. lol 🙂 I feel "normal" now 🙂
No grass!
Beautiful, no grass more natural. I am inspired.
Wow, nice vlog. I am from India.
Absolutely gorgeous. And my husband thinks I have a lot of rocks and plants in my garden.
Wow! Amazing work! I like those little grey and red ferns on the side of your house. I have those too but yours seem to be absolutely thriving! Good job!
I like the idea of 80% rocks ad 20% plants . LOL….Looks great & I Love your fire pit , maybe some stone benches for it as well ?
I would have to agree with you: grass is over rated. It is so much nicer to look outside and see foliage and beautiful flowers and shrubs.(And ROCKS of course!)
Grass lawns are useful for playing croquet, but your nature preserve is so much more delightful!
MAGNIFICENT JOB!!! I LOOOOVE IT SO MUCH!!!
WOW nice rock path!!! I’d rather have rocks than grass.
That was absolutely stunning. I am so jealous of your yard. Just beautiful. Thank you for sharing your amazing work.
How many Acre’s your property
I just found your video… how inspirational! I live in Michigan too and I have permission to get stones from the empty lot next to us. I dig whenever I can but my husband isn’t too excited about them all 😍 I would love to have him build a wall too
I like your stone pathway. And very nice gardens! And no grass. It is a green desert. Plus needs mowing.
Just a shot in the dark, since you like rocks and gardening, look up Takashi Amano "Iwagumi." Be a natural extension to your of rock hounding and gardening. 😉 I have a small set-up, which is currently down due to a lack of time/energy. But I saved all my equipment to set up with my toddler when older.
Absolutely love your garden.
It's a wonderful garden, it looks very natural and the path leading through woodland is delightful. It is beautifully thought out and executed. I much prefer no grass!
What a beautiful yard! I saw a clip on here the other day, a yard full of MASSIVE pudding stones. No idea how they hauled them all home. I thought of you right away 🙂
Dirty work space
WOW, what amazing landscaping!!! Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing. love it!
Thanks for the tour, love what you've done with your place. I agree, grass is overrated.
Love what you have done. Love the no grass vs grass side. What a labor of love!
beatiful place
Agreed, grass is over rated. Nice job in the landscaping!
Your place looks great. You saved a ton of money doing it yourself and finding the rocks. Really impressive. Had to take a long time. Was fun to watch. Great video
I am inspired!!!!!!
Beautiful yard. I can’t imagine wrestling those rocks. Funny story, my sister bought several hundred vinca plugs, they all went through the chain link fence into the neighbor’s yard. I guess the grass was greener.
What a wonderful yard!!! Thanks for sharing it with us.
i like no grass. and i like that it’s grown so much. feels very cozy & isolated like an english garden around a cottage.
i live in south central PA & we have many old gorgeous fieldstone & creek stone farmhouses. its a very old area with many old farms still intact, including our ancestral farm (1726)
