My name is Justin and I have my managed my family’s business (S&K Greenhouse) for the last 10 years! It is a local garden center in Shelby, NC that my family started around 25 years ago.
We have a strong desire to discuss and teach gardening to the online community and welcome anyone who wants to learn. Though we have been involved in the plant world for decades we have found that there is always something to learn when it comes to gardening.

I live near Yosemite in the food hills in California. I have a problem with deer eating all my plants. I do have some they stay away from, but what other plants can I have around my home they will not touch and is water tolerant?

Thank you for including zone info. Obviously while you're in shirtsleeves in December, I'm in layers while shoveling snow. Out West we have to be super conscious of water, I'd love a video of drought resistant evergreens, plants, shrubs, etc..
