I've noticed in a lot of your videos that you dont seem to mulch your gardens. Is there any reason in particular or is it just too early in the season.
Hi, I just came across your wonderful and very informative videos. I wish I would've found them earlier. I'd like your advice for a particular sunny spot in my front yard. I'm in love with hydrangeas, but I haven't found any that would tolerate 6-8 hours of full sun. Do you know of any ? By the way, I'm in northern California….if that helps. Thanks !

Thank you for this wonderful presentation, a visual of the different types of plants is very helpful. I do have a question. I am starting a garden from scratch. I wish to begin with planting some nice bushes for flower and ornamental appeal as well as privacy. I cannot decide whether I want to plant the bushes directly into the ground or if i should make a bed and then plant them? I can't find any information that answers which is the better approach. I would appreciate any advice.
