  3. I purposely make my own biochar with a really nifty tracking solar concentrating retort and use the off gasses (wood gas) to run an electric generator, if I'm not already using my solar heat-based 110 vac (house current) electric generator.

    Edit: BTW you can use that wood ash to make sodium / potassium hydroxide, then add in some methanol (gasoline tank water remover) and used vegetable oil to make your own biodesiel fuel oil.
