alive a live O me back,,, seeya bonny lad,,,,,, Ed & Lucy
Sorry to hear about your bees Tony. ๐
Sorry to hear about the bees, a sad day indeed ๐ฅ I agree with a few of the other comments, why not build a temp potting bench like Steve?
Use it for benches inside the tunnel or even a bench outside to sow seeds when the weather is nice.
Hi Tony I can't do things quickly now like I did in my 40s you could build a pergola next to the shed have something climbing
Hinged netting on a raised bed….)
Yep definitely too expensive to burn make a fruit cage or brassicas cage with it. But I would disperse it a bit more thatโs a lot of weight on the poly tunnel bars
Tony, shouldโve tied/ taped the wood to the wheel barrow then lifted the wood at the end instead of carrying it at that awkward position. At least youโd have been centered. Some good I do for you now right!
Sad about the bees tony I wouldnโt get any more
Your shoulder's better then! My god, chancing your arm putting that up in your polytunnel. Shame to hear about the girls….maybe make a cage or something?
You could use the timber to make a a hinged cold frame for a couple of your raised beds!
Multi use timber but get it out of direct sunlight or it well up like banana in couple of days
To bee, or not to bee? That is the question.
What city do you live in?
Sorry to hear about the bees Tony, a real shame, keep the chin up lad
Make a dog house for the dogs out of it they got a bit of shade in the summer then
I hope you didn't hurt your shoulder again!
So sorry to hear about your girls Tony ๐ค๐ฑ
You might grow organic food but neighbours may use pesticides or something harmful to bees that might be marketed as natural
Hello from Ontario Canada Thankyou sorry about the bees ๐
Sorry to hear about your bees tony…๐
I'm out of breath watching you chug that wood along…๐ ..lots of uses for that wood…steve and others have given you loads of ideas..look after your shoulder tony..๐
Always enjoy watching your hard work ๐
Parcel tape…. you do make me laugh mate ๐๐๐
As for the wood. ? Like mentioned before, build a removable potting bench ๐ Iโve got one that I lay over my polytunnel bed just for potting, first stages of seed setting etc etc then remove it when everything is ready to go in ๐๐
O I'm so sorry to hear about the bees very sad, now that's what I call carrying a little extra Timber, puffing like an old steam train, Aye its a young man's game.
I feel your back aches from here ๐ฃ I am sorry you lost the bees ๐ it could have been colony collapse due to pesticides, I wouldn't get more until you know why.
Hi Tony another Fab video, shame about the bees. Take care Claire
Those are cracking little compost bays…can I ask where you got those?
Poor man management there Tony. You should have removed the nails and got the lad to do the barrowing.
I like the hinged hoop/netting idea or some kind of structure for vertical gardening to support peas, beans or squash.
With the 3 by 2 wood . Make a fruit gage , I did and it works really well .
Sorry about your bees Tony. I enjoyed being in your barrow, had a nosy at your neighbours! Lol
I sympathise with you im often saying to myself when i was younger i could do this without drawing a breath. Getting old sucks.
Good to see I'm not the only one that can't push a barrow far without a rest. ๐
I'll put a abet it was varroa that killed your bees.
make a nice sturdy fruit cage or cold frames, perhaps replace the benches in the greenhouse or tunned if needed
In our Heads we are all still in our teens
Then we do gardening oh my,
Soon we realise our bodies are getting Old.
๐
Hope tunnel can take the weight
thats hard work matie chops
