  1. Hi there! Love your shop with me videos. Was curious if it was possible to request a video on how you go about raising your chickens? You make it look so easy!

  2. Sarah and Kevin from Living Traditions Homestead make homemade english muffins and hamberger/hot dog buns… I haven't tried them yet but it doesn't look hard.

  3. I was a pen and paper person but I slowly started to try and utilize my phone more for list making. I use the app thats already on my phone….Samsung note. It's a life saver. I now am in the habit and use it for so many things. I have multiple lists of all sorts of things near and far to remind me of. Best of all, I never forget my lists now because that was always me 😂 I'd have my husband send me a picture of the list I left on the counter lol.

  4. I got a nesco electric pressure canner, lodge Dutch oven, electric skillet, and a new griddle. I got all the things to help with cooking and preserving.

  5. The whole time you were in Costco I was thinking of your dog. I was like, “Becky would never leave her dog in the car.” And then you showed us you did. 😢

  6. I never forget/loose my grocery list anymore, because I keep a perpetual "Grocery List" file on my phone using the Notes app. I just list the different Store headings where I like to purchase certain items, and then I can see everything I need no matter what store I am at. Then anytime I Think of something I need or I run out of something, I just immediately put it on the grocery list that's on my phone. It has made shopping so much easier.

  7. This is what we ordered for sprouting at our house from Amazon. It included seeds but you can get just lids too.
Masontops Bean Sprouting Bundle – 2 Bean Screen Sprouting Lids & 2 Sprout Seed Mixes – Wide Mouth Mason Jar Strainer

  8. Did you put get out of jail bail money on your list for when animal control was waiting for you at your car, for animal abuse?

  9. The egg shortage isn't because of the holidays.

There's a disease outbreak in poultry causing mas culling of flocks. Plus the war in Ukraine is affecting grain exports which is a major part of chicken feed.

Expect more shortages and rising prices. Becky is obviously in a great position to ride this out, since she has her own flock (Becky, protect them!), And she can freeze dry eggs to make safe powdered eggs.

Also expect that poultry meat will soon spike in prices and be in short supplies.

  10. I don't know, but the dog in the car for less than an hour in a cool car is probably fine. People crate their dog at home in a little bigger crate while they're at work. I mean immobile people in nursing homes and hospitals are required to be turned every 2hrs so 1hr laying down should be fine

  11. America's Test Kitchen has a YouTube video on the Instant pot dutch oven that you may find of value.

  12. Ignore the dog comments. Your dog was perfectly safe in the crate. It wasn’t too hot or cold and you were taking him to the vet to be cared for. We know you love your dogs.

  13. You should ask them at checkout they could call one of their guys to come load that dog food for you

  14. I got a dehydrater for Christmas and I don’t even know what to dehydrate with it like I know but I’m scared I’ll mess up or something and I don’t want it to smell in my house what’s the best thing I should try first.

  15. At my Costco I have the Dutch oven crock pot and post its. I also had that light jacket in black. Try online you can have them shipped. I didn't have those cloud shoes you bought for in house shoes. I was so bummed!!!

  16. Becky,
Download color note to your phone and put your shopping list on your phone. Works great and you can delete the ones you have already picked up. It's great l add things as l think of them. A side note when are you going to stop calling him baby acre or just baby? Personally I find it kinda disrespectful to the child. If you don't want the public to know his name could you use a nick name? Just saying… Maybe just me but it's weird.

  17. Please tell me you leave the A/C on for your poor pup!!!!! That's a long time to be in a crate in a car! Just saying.

  18. Hi Becky, I heard you say you are going to store your extra yeast in the freezer and a smaller amount out with your baking supplies, but if you keep the smaller amount you are going to use in the fridge it lasts longer than in the cupboard. I don't bake breads nearly often enough and the jar of yeast I have I keep in the fridge and even though it expired recently it was still active when I went to make rolls at christmas. Hope this helps.

  19. I knew some people would have some stuff to say about the dog in the kennelI. I am sure she will beat herself up about this and she doesn’t need that. No need to be rude when mentioning it.
I’d like to point out a few things… she even said her coat was too warm that day, her dog has a good coat, her car was likely warm from the frequent stops & insulation, the temperature in her area is mild around the time of this, it’s her first time out of the house and she obviously cares about her dogs or she wouldn’t be taking them to the vet or getting a sitter to pick them up for her labor & delivery.

  20. Omg’sh, you reminded me that I wanted to get cranberries too!! Lol I feed the birds, and because of where I live it’s honestly mostly just hundreds of field sparrows, but they eat a lot, so I wanted to string up some cranberries for them to enjoy! I’ll bet your chickens would enjoy a handful as a treat as well..:) Also dear friend, I never watch anyone else doing a grocery haul, but if you go, or you and your mom do one, I’m always here for it! Idk? 🤷‍♀️ haha God Bless!! 🙏🏼👍☃️

  21. Please don't leave dogs in the car longer than necessary …it causes them stress which is really bad on their bodies

  22. And how is it that we know whether or not she may have took the dog out before she went into Costco and she may have took him out after.
