  1. We had a horrible freeze this year in N. Florida, even my bamboo froze, I'm hoping all will come back, but in the meantime your video has helped my spirit smile and this winter gives me time to reestablish my gardens to a more serene space. I've only lived in this location for a year, so thank you for this video, I'll be watching over and over…!

  3. Brilliant video loved the information and improved cultural understanding this really made the content even stronger. My favorite was the last view from inside where you could feel how the owner and visitors would also see enjoy the garden. I wish my house more had that kind of view

  4. Fantastic🤩! I love your channel and I don't miss one episode. You are very welcome over here to my place in France 😜

  7. I have greatly appreciated your past videos – each one serene, lovely and inspiring.

Your new video format is even more beautiful! I gain deeper understanding and insights for my garden tasks. I will feel more connected with nature and knowing that others work in this way, too. Thank you!

  8. what exhaustive work… the details… Thank you very much for the explanations, we couldn't understand the depth of this work. I look forward to the next one! beautiful video!

  9. Thanks for sharing the deep-rooted Japanese cultural meaning of omotenashi, highest Japanese hospitality. The revered mindset of dedication, immense preparation and meticulous ceremony to make it the most memorable experience possible for guests. The roji garden is an important part of the ceremony. It beautifully supports the symbolic & defined views: with its stepping stones, bamboo fences, tsukubai water basin and tranquil plantings with its sublime visual beauty & details.

  10. So happy to see another of your videos.I look every day for another post.I love the beautiful graciousness of Japanese anything! But your gardens are divine.I can't wait for the second part, and much more.Thankyou.

  11. I'm especially looking forward to seeing this garden because I love learning about the different tea ceremonies. Japanese gardens and tea ceremonies are both very beautiful and calming. Thank you for sharing!

  12. Wonderful to watch. As a "gaijin" it took me many years to learn the tea ceremony. And I'm still learning more to fully understand it. Arigato.🙏

  13. 青竹の全部を変えてしまわない精神性のお話に感動しました。
    また、こんな動画を拝見したいです。
    ありがとうございました。

  14. Modern society will become harsh and cold unless many of these traditional ways are preserved. These beautiful gardens bring balance. 🙏
