Got to be a fox that has buried an egg for safe keeping lol… 😂 can only imagine what you were thinking finding it though. You’ll do well with the blue lake beans Tony, I’m growing those at the moment. Really nice french beans
Sorry about your finger. I did that on my index fingertip while harvesting pole beans. You are right about the amount of blood. At least I know the snips are sharp. And I keep bandages in the garden seat now.
I've always read that onions and beans aren't good companions, that the onions somehow inhibit the beans. But, I'm not sure how close they need to be to have an effect and your allotment is so full there weren't many options. Hoping they do well for you.

I've just discarded dozens of celeriac. I had no more space for them in my little plot. My first cucumbers were bitter as anything… I've removed all the fruit and flowers and will be busy snipping all the male flowers off and hope I get a decent crop… Blimmin males…nowt but trouble 🙂 Do you realise that you aren't going to get an Eggplant from the egg 🙂

I had the same problem with Dwarf bean , good compost tried twice but not one germinated, I have bought new seeds and I am having one last go.
So when you add blood fish and bone to your garden the blood is real 😂😂. Monty at My Family Garden swears by planting his beans with onions and mine are doing well this year. I have grown blue lake before they are quite nice. Daiz is sure getting to be a nice quiet garden companion. Nice strawberry haul. ✌️🇨🇦🐝 safe
Tony blue lake will do 6ft plus ,an excellent french bean grow them every year freeze good too
Do you never cover your strawberries Tony? I've netted mine, admittedly not amazingly, it looks like I've had some damage on some today when I checked, but I think that was slugs ☹️

Not growing leeks, nobody eat them.
Be careful Tony, that eggs will explode and stink OMG, like you have never smelt anything before.

Hi Tony, loving the videos, as always. I’d love to be picking that volume of strawberries every few days or so, I know they’re different varieties with different fruiting times but just wondering roughly how many plants are in the bed?
Strange thing with the beans I had a similar issue. Planted up four root trainer modules and only three came up. I began to wonder if i had actually put beans in, but i had they just didn’t come up, a whole tray full of root trainers, absolutely nothing.
Looks like we have solved the issue with the randomly dug holes earlier in the year, it's foghorn leghorn🐔 after all 😂

I plant a chicken egg under my trees before planting & several in my vegie garden before planting..I crack it first.

Lol, surprises are everywhere in the garden! Not growing beans this year, too many bean beetles last year, giving them a chance to move on.
