Vasili, the roof needs to have pet mesh wire under it. I had a once in a life time event of snow. My roof is hail proof solar weave plastic that could handle the extra weight of snow and the roof is flat but angled at 30 degrees so the snow or rain can fall off the roof. if it is really cold where you are then the inside side of your hothouse could have a plastic to create a double layer of plastic. Your ventilation could have fly screen to protect against pest insects. I have removable wood frames with plastic that I remove to get the ventilation. I have noticed my Black Jack Zucchini prefer the hydroponics in the hot house as opposed to my Black Jack Zucchini in a plastic rectangle planter box in the garden that are not as large in stalks but are developing fruit (Zucchini)
Good Morning from Gold Coast ,Queensland. regarding the hot house . Or Sauna, Ha Ha!! in future if you angle the roof upwards from the middle of the structure and have vents that are at either end that can be opened as well as te existing sides that can open the hot air will rise out the top ends, circulated by the cool air coming out from below. Maybe for the next structure . May Your gardens grow productively.π
Yiasu!!! Well done with the progress on your hot house!!! π It is really coming along nicely! As for ventilation of the top part, you could do the same split panels at the ends of the structure, but the top portion is what opens, to allow the hot air out when needed, not the bottom section like elsewhere π€ what do you think … Maybe these could be smaller, like the middle section if you split the top part in to thirds, so it is less weight, etc to prop up … I watched a really good Aussie guy setting up his poly tunnel & talking about the cross-ventilation idea from one end to the other … Fat Cow Farm Tatong … On YouTube! Don't work too hard … Be sure to pull up a chair (or bale of bean straw) & sit back & admire your handywork! You deserve it! πΊ
