Wow! So glad I invested in these Monsteras! | Investment Plant Update

G’day, guys! In today’s video, I give you an update on 2 plants I recently chopped up, propagated, and then sold. The investment plants were my Monstera deliciosa ‘Platinum Mint’ and one of my Monstera deliciosa ‘Thai Constellations’.

  1. Pete I absolutely love your plants and knowledge and watch every video but I wish you could zoom in when describing things. it makes it hard (for me anyway) to clearly understand what’s going on without a clear visual

  2. The Thai is my only wish list plant. I have a few plants I would like but not to fussed if I get right now. But the Thai is just so beautiful I love them xx

  3. Nice to see those plants earning their keep Pete. 💚 Great tip joining forces with a local small biz to move plants I'll have to look into that one day.
Oh update for you I finally caved and got myself a Billie yesterday 🤣

  4. Yea, you cut the node off of the Thai, that’s why it’s pushing out all the babies. Kinda of a bummer too loose all the big growth but will have plenty new ones. Congrats on your 3 K! 🥳🥳💚

  5. Love it. You cracked open a cold one, I started a fire after coming home from football game to get the chill off.
Congrats on going into the green with your investment. Always feels good AND keeps the wife happy so you can keep rolling!

  6. 🐸🧦
Peaches is just testing the turgor pressure… give her a raise! 🤣🤣

    edited. becuase I almost forgot!

  7. Congrats on your 3k mark mate. For me I usually do it the other way around by keeping tip cutting and sell nodes instead. Growing good var from nodes is rather hit and miss for me 🫠

  8. Gorgeous! Great to see they pushed out new growth so fast and so healthily, cutting them up while they're all already rooted is the way to go!
Wish my Thai was still this gorgeous, it got Thrips out of nowhere and after finally winning the fight, it started browning all over, same with my Albos.

How do pests always single out the most expensive plants in the collection? There's been dozens of other plants right next to them (Syngonium, Alocasia, Coleus, a whole damn buffet), but nooo, they go on the Thai and Albos 🙁
