  1. I am totally obsessed with growing foxgloves from seed! The biennial varieties are worth the wait, but I actually had some bloom first year for me after an unusually long growing season in 5b. Also, can't beat the all summer long blooms of Rudbeckia.

  2. Wow … That was a Master Class on seed starting …. Thank You so much for that awesome information … Now I need to get busy ordering supplies …. !!!

  3. Lots of great info! Thank you!

Additionally, I’ve found that a seedling heat mat and a humidity dome speed up germination considerably. I’ve also found regular potting mix to work just fine for seed sowing; although I remove the larger chunks of material when filling the tray.

Are you guys growing any veg or herbs from seed?

  4. This was awesome!! And costly…I had to keep stopping and ordering 🥰. I really appreciate the growing light tip. I ordered one to try. I also use those same Gardeners supply sets and LOVE them. I am going to try coleus seeds for the first time thanks to you. I love them tucked around my garden. That spreadsheet is amazing and I am going to try copying that. I live on Cape Cod so am barely a zone 7a. I can’t wait for the fun to begin. Thanks so much!
