  1. Nora, you already know you are an Alocasia queen! I would highly recommend trying some Alocasia in either the Lechuza Deltini or Lechuza Maxi Cubi… after transferring my Frydek, Black Velvet, and Dragon Scale all three of them started growing MASSIVE leaves!! As always keep up the great work and can't wait what new content you will bring us in the new year 🙂

  2. Charming alocasias (。♡‿♡。)
Leka or pon, it doesn't matter. The main thing is proper watering, I think. Thanks for the wonderful video!

  3. I’m going to transfer my Alocasias to lechuza pon in the spring so far I have 18 by then maybe 20 or 24.

I wanted to try leca (I have a bag) but I don’t feel like buying a lot of nutrients lol 😂

  4. You definitely a queen Nora! Luv your plants. I have most of my Alocasia in Leca and doing well. However, don’t know why I struggle with my poly and frydek all the time. Like you said one day I’ll crack the code lol. Tfs 💚 14:02

  5. OMG I think you are the queen of wonderful Alocasias….but if you need a queen for Alocasia killers, I will step up. I LOVE the look of these plants & have lost a small fortune on them. My last one was an Amazonica….So after viewing this, I am thinking i should keep the reservoir very low? Are there any styles that seem to survive better than the others? What size plant would do best for transfer into LECA? 2.5? 4.0? HELP

  6. I'll be curious to know whether your alocasia will bloom. For some reason, the only alocasia that won't bloom are the ones I have in passive hydro (pon). All my other ones have bloomed several times.

  7. Have you had any issues with water roots rotting after sitting in nutrient solution for sometime? My dragon scale had beautiful water roots but within a month all the roots in reservoir rotted. Is this why you keep it very shallow? I heard wick pots are better but I’m not trying to spend more money and use my current setup (orchid clear pot and ceramic cover pot). Thanks Nora

  8. I have a variegated alocasia macrorrhiza and an alocasia bambino, both very beautiful! My banbino went into shock when I took it home and dropped 3-4 leaves as I failed to get its watering schedule down, while the macrorrhiza is a total champ, just unfurled new leaves despite having to be actually shipped to my home!

  9. Where are you getting your Pon from. I've looked every where in Australia and no one sells it.

  10. Love your alocasia collection. I think your on the way to being a queen but maybe a princess right now. Continue on this journey and take us along with you. New subscriber here.

  11. Happy holidays Nora.
Love and look forward for your videos.
I have a question, I have the tendency of repurposing all sort of containers. I noticed that your leca containers are transparents or clear. If there are reason why. Can I just plant leca on a oil old can without getting root rot.

  12. Ms. Nora! You are hilarious! You are and remain the "Queen," not a killer, no matter how many alocasias you lose. You are tops in my book and I've learned so much from you. Keep it going and thanks!

  13. I’m new to rare plants. Watching your videos have helped me so much on my journey, and I’ve learned so much. Thank you!!!!! ❤
